  • Great location in a cute cottage

"Loved this rental! It was conveniently located within walking distance of downtown (great for walking off all the amazing meals we had :). It was easy to book and I really appreciated the clear and simple price structure. The owners were responsive in email and helpful in providing recommendations for places to eat and wineries to try. I love cooking and appreciated the well-supplied kitchen, even though I didn't use it. It's comfortable for 2-4 people to stay in and has nice common space in the kitchen, dining and living rooms, plus a thoughtful outdoor table. Loved the touch of a wine fridge that included local wines for sale with an honor box. And we really appreciated the touch of the complimentary bottle of wine :) The air conditioning was a welcome way to come home to the cool after the heat of the day. We didn't bring our dog this trip, but would definitely look into bringing her next time. We'll definitely stay here on future trips to Walla Walla!"

  • WORTH A REPEAT VISIT

"This is the second time we have rented Meredith and Lou's sweet cottage in Walla Walla and we enjoyed the accommodations very well each time. The owners have done a nice job of keeping the 1950's character of the house while attending to the necessary upgrades in plumbing, windows and climate control. The king size bed is comfortable and the living room sofa sleeper worked well for our son. The home is clean and the decor is simple but fitting. The garden is lovely and was replete with color during our stay last week. There is also a nice little stream on the edge of the property and adirondack chairs and a picnic table provided seating to enjoy the water and yard. Each morning I went for walks around the neighborhood and the streets are lined with mature trees, lawns and craftsman homes. It is only two blocks from Whitman College which has a stunning landscape and garden sculptures. The center of town is an easy 10 minute walk and is filled with good restaurants and retail stores."

  • Spacious, high end condo near the heart of Walla Walla

"Five friends on a wine tasting weekend shared this great condo and were left wanting for nothing. The condo is well equipped and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The kitchen was stocked with quality cookware and appliances, and enough dishes, utensils and, of course, wine glasses for at least 10 people. An added bonus was the Keurig and coffee pods and creamer that were provided. This made the lazy mornings at home really nice. The 3 bedrooms with attached bathrooms were comfortable and made it easy for everyone to have enough space to feel privacy, while the main floor was a great space for getting together and cooking meals. The gem of the whole space however is the rooftop patio. It was so nice to sit up there in the sun enjoying the view and a glass of wine. The neighbors were very friendly as well. The condo was very clean and has been maintained extremely well. It's only a 2-3 block walk to Main Street with a plethora of shops, wineries and restaurants, a 5-6 block walk to Safeway, and about a 10 minute drive to the airport or southern wineries. The 2 car garage and opener were nice for keeping our cars off the street parking. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to any groups visiting Walla Walla. The only improvement I would suggest are darker shades for the master bedroom to help with those sunny mornings, and added hangers in the master closet (which I thought was otherwise amazing.)"
