  • One of the best places we rent

"We stayed at he Adams cabin for 7 days (August 2016). The cabin is great, clean, and very well taken care off. John was always available and ready to answer our questions and provide recommendations about local places. Location is perfect, its quiet, with beautiful view, next to the river. Organic garden was a delight, co many vegetables and herbs (huge plus for us, since most of us are vegetarians). Packwood is great little town, great Market, you can find all you needed there (food supply). Hike to Packwood lake is highly recommended (4.2 miles, beautiful blue water). Cabin is fairly close to Mount Rainier Park (about 40 min to Paradise, 90 min to Sunrise). We rented many properties through VRBO and this one is probably one of the best."

  • Clean, charming, relaxing & great for family

"Nine members of our family came together here for a celebration - it was perfectly comfortable for all of us to stay and play. We enjoyed it so much - close to hikes and groceries, well stocked kitchen, lots of space for the kids to play, awesome hot tub!"

  • Great cabin!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this super sweet cabin! It is just so cute and comfortable. We felt very much at home! The cabin is in a little neighborhood of other cabins. It's a nice walk down to a creek that feeds into the Cowlitz River. Our 9 year old son loved exploring down there. Plus, it's only a 10 minute drive to Mt. Rainier National Park, which is spectacular! The cabin is just outside of Packwood, which has a few restaurants to choose from and a grocery store if you want to cook at the cabin. Every night we would see elk grazing as we drove into town. The cabin has everything you need for your stay. They even provide laundry detergent for the washer. It also has a great hot tub! You do hear some road noise outside the cabin, but it wasn't at all bothersome. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, Jan, one morning as we walked down to the river. She is super nice and her and her husband were very responsive. We would definitely recommend this cabin!"

  • A lovely home away from home.

"We had an excellent week at Elk Trail Lodge. It comfortably slept our family of eight and handled all ages from toddler to adult. I was delighted that everything was clean and we all loved how beautifully it was decorated. It would work well for two families as well."
