  • Clean and cozy cabin!

"We have stayed at several VRBO locations and this cabin was tops. Nice secluded location with a view of the mountains from the hot tub and decks. Close to "town" and Mt Ranier National Park. Very clean and well furnished. The kids enjoyed watching all the movies. It is always helpful to have on-site laundry as well. Our family of four was very comfortable and pleased with our five day stay. Wifi and Cell reception is limited due to the location, but we knew this ahead of time and we're glad to see the kids "unplug"! I would highly recommend this rental. Owners were very prompt with responses during booking and were quick to reply to all our questions. Overall great experience."

  • Great base for Mt. Rainier and Mount St. Helens

"I'm a bit of a tough grader so a 4 star review is one of a satisfied customer in this case. The lodge provided plenty of room for our group of 9 and we left with great memories. We did day trips to the Mts. and used the facilities to prepare breakfasts and evening meals. This is where the property excelled. The stove, fridge, microwave, and washer and dryer were put to good use and provided great utiility. All sizes of pots and pans and every utensil needed were available for use. I greatly appreciated that the pantry and fridge had those condiments, spices, oils, and other essentials that you hate to spend money on for a relatively short stay in stock. This was helpful and a money saver. There is a small grocery in Packwood for incidentals but I recommend you plan your meals and hit a grocery in a metro area to save some cash for your major meal ingredients. Outside we took advantage of the marvelous hot tub, used the fire pit and the grill. We had some great family times in the hot tub and around the fire. Great places to relax and unwind after busy days of taking in with awe both Rainier and St. Helens. We all also enjoyed an hour or so at a coffee shop in Packwood on Saturday morning. I'd do this trip over again a hundred times. Just really special for me to have all the family around, comfortable and enjoying the time together that happens too rarely as the kids get older. There were no major negatives. The driveway was a bit of a challenge to climb but you learn to handle that. The price was at the top end of the offerings but we booked a little late and didn't have a slew of options. Even so, it was a value compared to spending on hotel rooms and not having the conveniences this place offered. I guess the greatest tribute was the praise from the family. We did an Alaskan cruise after our stay and I by the family comments the fun here matched that experienced on the cruise. Many thanks."

  • Cozy and Comfortable for a Small Family Gathering

"We rented this cabin for a small family gathering and really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived, the cabin was clean and well stocked with all the supplies we were expecting. We cooked 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts there and had everything we needed to make those meals feel like home. The beds were comfortable and we loved using the hot tub after a long and tiring day of skiing at White Pass. I wish we could have stayed longer."

  • Perfect for families!

"We had a wonderful time at the Farmhouse ringing in 2016. The house was very well equipped and beautifully decorated. The peaceful setting and outdoor lighting a treat! The hot tub a treat after the wonderful snow at White Pass. The owner was great to deal with and we plan to return! Thank You!"
