  • Amazing Historic Home!

"This is our second trip to the Sharpsburg area and to stay at the Antietam house. Love the location. The house has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Love the historic charm this house offers, so cozy yet roomy. I could write a book about all the things I love about visiting here! Tim and Vernell have thought of everything needed for our stay. Thanks again and we will definitely be back again sooner then later next time! Karen and Bob Malloy"

  • Perfect view!

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mountainside Lodge over Thanksgiving. The house is amazing and the view was even better. Even though it was next to a train station it didn't bother us. My kids love trains anyway! Definitely a memorable vacation we will never forget!"

  • Late Summer Getaway

"My boyfriend and I rented the cabin for the weekend as an alternative to the crowded beaches in Maryland/Delaware. We knew from the pictures that the views from the deck would be great, but they were even more spectacular than we could've imagined. The cabin was very nice and clean when we arrived. We stopped at a grocery store on the way up so that we wouldn't have to venture out later that night. After settling in, we enjoyed the night views and hottub. The cabin doesn't have central air, but the air conditioning unit worked great. We were comfortable for the entire weekend. We brought a laptop with movies on it to watch in bed at night. The basement bedroom was nice and cool every night, so we slept down there. The bathroom was nicely updated (shower is amazing!) and even had a few toiletries if you happened to forget something. On saturday, we went to the town of Berkely Springs. It's a small town, but there is a great olive oil shop that has some very friendly and knowledgable owners. We bought a few items to marinade our dinner with for later that night on the grill. Do make sure to check out the Antique Mall and the state park. It's a really neat little town. We loved it and Instagramed a lot of pictures :)"
