  • Great ski weekend for 2 families

"Two families (4 adults and 4 teens) spent a long weekend in this lovely townhouse. The girls claimed the bunk room. My daughter said the bottom bunk was so comfortable, she wanted to take it home. The boys camped out in the living room. Plenty of bathrooms to go around. Kitchen is well-stocked. Very convenient -- a short walk to Silver Creek and the shuttle to Snowshoe is practically right out the door. The best part was having our own private hot tub on the back deck. Great way to end a long day of skiing. We used it every night!"

  • Perfect hiking getaway

"Rippling Waters was the perfect spot for our hike at Dolly Sods. The hot tub soothed our aching muscles and sagging spirits after a day of soggy hiking. The house comfortably accommodated five of us. We had every amenity we needed, included a fully equipped kitchen, comfy chairs for lounging and a large dining table for meals and games. David was a responsive host from our first interaction - professional, flexible and welcoming at all times."

  • ML 125

"Awesome Place! Tim was super helpful and the room had everything that was needed. The slopes are just a few steps out the front door. We couldn't get the dryer to work, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I will definitely come back here next time!"

  • Wonderful experience in Harpers Ferry

"This was a terrific place to stay - right in the heart of historic Harpers Ferry. The house is spacious, has lots of thoughtful details and accessories. Check-in and out is super easy. The home fits the part, with subtle creaks and tons of character. It is also awesome to have 2 parking spaces come along with the rental - you really do need that!! The house is very very close to a busy train line (and the trains make mandatory warning sounds as we found out - 4-5 per train!) as previous renters have stated. Keep that in mind - the trains come through all hours of the day and night. Again, that is part of the charm and character, and for some makes no difference at all, while for others they need to be prepared for this to take place. For us, we were there and the noise from the AC window units helped dim the sounds of the trains outside. Harpers Ferry of course has the amazing NHP, and is close to Antetiam for history buffs. We found out the food in Shepardstown is amazing (check out the Press Room). Thank you Jill for being such a wonderful hostess!"
