  • The perfect family getaway!

"We stayed at the Bluff House for six days, over the 4th of July holiday, and we absolutely loved it. The minute we arrived, we were greeted by the owner and given a tour of the amenities. Before we even walked through the door, we could see the view of the Green Bay. It is stunning. Thirteen of us (8 adults, 2 teenagers, 3 children) fit comfortably, with space to spare. We enjoyed fires in the fire pit every evening, and coffee on the deck every morning. The home is an easy distance from beaches and town, so we were able to enjoy Egg Harbor and its beaches every day. When I booked the Bluff House, I had been looking for a place where my siblings, parents and I could bring our families and spend some quality time together. We were able to do exactly that. One of the many highlights of the house was how well the kitchen was stocked with every contraption one would need. I am already missing the gorgeous views from the deck, and we're looking forward to getting back to the Bluff House again next year!"

  • Beautiful Log Cabin Nested in the Woods of Door County

"Weekend ice fishing retreat and perfect end to the day home with perfect amenities and floor to ceiling pass through wood burning fireplace. Comfortable beds and clean property. I would definitely stay here again. One caution is the driveway was very icy (no fault of owner) and does not have a turn around up by the garage. We had a 7x12 trailer and got stuck adding to the adventure of the weekend. The roads are also narrow in and out of the property."

  • Memorable and wonderful holiday get-away for our family

"We're so glad we found Trillium Gap cottage and have high hopes of making this a regular destination for our family. While we've stayed in various rental properties in different locations around the U.S. over many years, this stands out as one of the most comfortable, well-equipped and high quality properties we've ever found. It was the perfect space for our family of six, and though we spent the majority of the time gathered in front of warm, cozy, wood-burning fireplace (a generous stock of fresh firewood and starter logs were provided) playing games and watching movies, we were still able to spread out when we wanted and enjoyed the spacious layout. The kitchen was especially notable - a beautifully designed space in which to cook. We prepared a few big meals and made use of nearly all the pots, pans, appliances and even an original "Joy of Cooking" cookbook! The many extras provided throughout the cottage - movies, books, music CDs, games, binoculars, pillows & blankets - were much appreciated. We made good use of all of them. The property itself is beautiful we were fortunate to experience a snowfall which made the woods and creek outside that much more scenic. The location of the cottage just outside Egg Harbor was also a bonus as we spent time in various surrounding towns and enjoyed restaurants in Sister Bay, Fish Creek and Ephraim. We're grateful we found Trillium Gap Cottage and thank the owners for sharing such a special place!"

  • A peaceful gem

"I rented this unit for a personal retreat, just me, and spent three nights. The whole experience was pure bliss, and I'd do it again, same place, same owners. The condo is spacious, comfortable, well supplied. I felt snug and safe, even at night, even in a nearly empty building. Everything I needed was there. I've been to DC many times, but this was my first Landmark stay. What a nice place! Loved walking along the edge of the bluff, which I did often. What a view! It is safe for adults, of course, with asphalt paths, fences and guardrails where necessary. The sunsets were stunning, and I took many photos. I also spent time walking around Egg Harbor and Fish Creek. But because I was without a companion, I didn't visit my favorite out-of-the-way places, like Cave Point and Ellison Bluff. The villages are charming even when they are mostly deserted; I have photos to prove that, too. (-: But when my activities were completed, I had a haven to return to, my cozy "home," a place of peace and rest. Thank you Moores!"
