  • Fantastic home

"We spent the weekend in Door County with our parents and couldn't have been happier with the accomodations. The home is beautiful and clean and was conveniently located to all we wanted to see and do in the area. The owners were nice and very helpful with suggestions for the area. We would highly recommend this home and hope to come again!"

  • Great cottage location.

"I'm always a bit concerned at what will actually be found that is possibly much different than what is described online. This listing is pretty accurate. It is an old cottage, but in fairly decent shape for it's age. It was clean and everything we needed was there. Plenty of room for us and another couple with more room to spare if needed... Erin is nearby, very personable and willing to help with anything that is needed. It is walking distance to stores, restaurants and everything else you might need. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

  • Second Year in a row. Love this place. Spotless!

"This condo is big, quiet and lovely. What a find. The sunsets are to die for. The house is stocked with everything. Games, books, DVD's and some for kids. The room with the bunk beds are now gone. There are two beds in that room with a flat screen TV. There were four of us and we each had our own bed. Two of us stayed in Sturgeon Bay the first night. The place was a dive and smelled (musty). That was $95.00. Really. Then you walk into this beautiful spacious condo. It is a first floor condo."

"My husband and I came here in October for a quiet little getaway. And man did we love it! We loved it so much that my husband wanted to call the cabin owners and ask if it's for sale! HAHA! We LOVED our experience. Also it doesn't hurt that thanks to El Nino we got lucky and hit Door County RIGHT AT PEAK. Everyone in Door County told us how lucky we were because technically we were about 2 weeks late for typical peak. The cabin itself is absolutely wonderful. I would say it is PERFECT for a couple or a family of 4-6. The master bedroom is the top "loft" of the cabin. Then on the main floor are 2 more bedrooms. And then in the basement is a room with I think 2 twin beds- great for kids. The photos look great but I honestly think it's even better in person. The cabin was SO clean. I'm a germ-a-phobe in general and I hate staying in hotels. No matter how fancy the hotel it always feels icky to me. This cabin felt like HOME. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit every single night. It was so perfect in the fall as it's situated pretty far back on the property right under all the big beautiful trees that the cabin backs up to. We also built a fire in the fireplace every night. The ONLY hiccup is the indoor fireplace is a little quirky and the first time we tried to use it the whole cabin filled with smoke. Turns out there is a light switch on the wall that operates some kind of fan in the chimney that must be turned on unless you want to inhale smoke. I wish they had left some fireplace instructions for us. That's really the only hiccup we had. The cabin is warm and cozy and the property is perfect. The cabin is on a fairly large lot and backs up to wooded land. My husband and I even loved the road that leads up to the cabin as it's a TRUE country road. We are even talking about returning in the winter to just cozy up inside and enjoy the fire place and watch the snow fall outside. Maybe do a little snow shoeing. Being in this cabin we felt like we were on a mountain top out in Colorado! And to return with the snow falling would REALLY feel special. We LOVED our stay and LOVED the cabin and would 1,000% return! GORGEOUS, SPECIAL CABIN!"
