  • Enjoy the natural beauty of Door County in comfort

"The home itself was more wonderful than described in the listing - everything we hoped for and more. The view overlooking Lake Michigan absolutely delighted us when we first entered the house! The home, the view, the sandy beach, the peaceful power of the lake, the starry night sky and the ever-changing sunrises (for the early-risers in the group!) all blend together to help you enjoy the relaxing beauty of Door County at it's absolute finest! There was plenty of room for our family group of 12 adults to be together AND for each couple to enjoy some privacy. Everything we wanted to do was a short drive away - state parks, fish boils, shopping, galleries, theater and activities. We're already planning our next family reunion/vacation here!"

  • Amazing trip to the Northwoods!

"This was our first trip to the Northwoods, and it was everything we had hoped it to be. We arrived at the quaint cabin and found it to be as described; it was very clean, organized, and provided the necessary supplies for a comfortable visit. The surroundings were beautiful, and the sounds of nature were amazing (especially enjoyed to sound of the loons). We enjoyed swimming, fishing, boating, and simply relaxing on the piers and the screened in porch. I found myself truly enjoying the screened in porch with a good book, while looking out at the amazing view. We used the canoe and rowboat, and floated around the lake enjoying the scenery. Jeanette was very pleasant and ensured we had everything we needed to make our visit pleasant, they live right next door. We did a day trip to Bond Falls, MI to see the waterfalls and it was well worth the trip (only about 35 miles). The downtown of Eagle River is so cute, and we enjoyed exploring the shops and even went to the street dance on Thursday night. We had a wonderful dinner at Eagle Waters Resort, and would highly recommend it. Overall it was a wonderful trip and if you are looking for a place to go to get away from it all, I would highly recommend Eagle River and this cabin."

  • Comfortable, spacious home with amenities

"We're a family of 5 that has happily stayed here two years in a row. This is a clean, comfortable home that actually does feel like home for the week. It has everything we need to make the week comfortable such as washer/dryer, dishwasher, spacious kitchen with appliances, dishes, pots/pans, etc., WIFI, fire pit, cable TV, extra blankets, fans... Owners are friendly and timely with correspondence (that's HUGE for me). Its not fancy but its cozy, comfortable, clean ... perfect, truly. Ellison Bay is a quieter town in Door County yet still near amenities and just a quick drive to the busier, more touristy towns. There's also some hidden gems a short drive or bike ride away!"

  • Vacation home within walking distance of downtown Baileys Harbor

"We recently stayed at the Bailey Boon in Baileys Harbor for a week. We found it to be a lovely home which is surrounded by trees on a quiet street and overlooks Lake Michigan. It is set back from Hwy 57 far enough that you don't get traffic noise, but close enough that it is a short walk to the downtown area and marina. The house is clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay (dishes, linens, pots, pans, gas grill, washer/dryer, etc.). The house was the perfect size for our group of six. I also found both the owner and the rental agent to be friendly and helpful. I would very much recommend Bailey Boon if you are staying in Door County and want a nice rental home on the east side of the peninsula."
