  • Beautiful setting!

"Stayed here for 4 nights in August. Plenty of room for us, our 2 adult children, daughter in law and 2 young grandkids. Outdoor area was beautiful with deck , yard , gardens and the lake. Sunsets were amazing and we made good use of the fire pit! Two issues we did have was a very strong rotten egg odor that lingered when using the tap water and no wifi. Had planned on keeping up with work email and wanted to download a movie for granddaughter to watch in the car on trip home, but were unable to do so. Owners did try to recitify , but were unable to resolve issues during our stay."

  • Comfortable and quiet

"There were seven of us in all, four adults and three kids. We really enjoyed the home. The peaceful setting was really enjoyable. The kids had plenty of room to play and ride their bikes. The road coming into the neighborhood is quiet with just minimal traffic and we never really had to be concerned about where the kids were or what they were doing. The neighbors were a pleasure to visit with too on a walk up the road one afternoon. We found the home to be well stocked with dishes and cookware as well as many common spices. There was both a drip coffee pot and a Keurig for those who drink coffee. The deck was really a great place to start the day. Early each morning we were visited by several hummingbirds and the sounds of a peaceful sunrise. The woods around the house really made it feel private as we could barely see the houses near to us. We enjoyed a fire one night roasting marshmallows and hotdogs telling ghost stories laughing and having a great time. The water pressure seemed to fluctuate a some but never caused any problems. We were thankful for the washer and dryer which we used a lot. There were plenty of linens too. We didn't try the TV but the wifi worked well, many times all of us were on our mobile devices at the same time. The house is convenient to Egg Harbor, we were able to ride our bikes there and back easily. Fish Creek was not much farther up the road then on to Ephraim and Sister Bay. All in all, the drive was always worth it. The park on the water between the house and Egg Harbor was a great place to catch the setting sun as well as the marina at Egg Harbor. Living in a large city keeps us moving at a fast pace and coming here caused us to really slow down and relax and enjoy what God and nature had to offer. By the end of the week we were not looking forward to heading home. Restaurants were plentiful and friendly. There were great burgers to be eaten at Wilsons in Ephraim and Penninsula Park was a great place for mountain bike riding. We didn't care much for the trip to Washington Island however although the kids loved the ferry ride. If you are still trying to decide where to stay, seriously consider staying here, you'll be satisfied and have an enjoyable time, and yes do bring mosquito spray."

  • Family Vacation

"My husband requested a vacation in Door County to celebrate his 65 birthday. We wanted to include the other 8 members of our family for a total of 10 people. I spent hours combing all the listings looking for just the right property to rent. We found it in Spinnaker Cove. It was better than we had imagined in all those months leading up to our visit. The house was clean. We had plenty of space so everyone could "do their own thing." The view of the bay was wonderful."

  • Renard's Cheese Store next to the place we stayed is really a nice place to shop

"The place we stayed is very nice, except we found bugs in every room. Otherwise, yes, it is a wonderful place to stay. My family enjoyed our three nights of stay."
