  • This cabin was almost perfect - wish there was a 4.5 star rating

"Almost perfect. Here's why: the bedrooms are very tight...as in you can't walk around the bed (on the end) if the closet doors are open, and the beds are double-sized, which with two adults and 11 & 12 yr old kids is, well, interesting. The website says it sleeps 4, which it does, but wow - it was tight. The couch is comfy, but not enough space for all four people at one time, so movie-night when it rains isn't a comfortable option. The fire pit is a bit further than we'd expected; though it is listed as "shared" on the listing, we only used it once since it wasn't too convenient to carry all our wood and goodies back and forth with us. (This cabin is surrounded by actual home owners, so they won't let you have a fire pit right at your cabin in case it would get out of hand.) Other than those few things, this cabin was clean, so very peaceful, stocked with the necessities, and sits on a gorgeous lake with a steady pier. Next time we visit, we will plan to book the home next to this one - 3 bedroom, and absolutely beautiful...more like an up-scale expanded pent-house hotel suite, actually. Cindy, the property manager, was absolutely amazing, and the owners were very quick to respond and very flexible to our needs. All in all, a perfect getaway, just a but tight on space for a family of four."

  • Beautiful Cabin, Wonderful Place

"My wife, 2 young children loved staying at the cabin. It's well furnished, very warm and inviting and has plenty of space for all of us. The lake is perfect, clear with a gradual drop off so youngsters can play by the dock and our daughter caught her first fish right from the bench on the end. Overall couldn't be happier and will definitely look to book this place again. It's near St.Germaine, bike trails, hiking trails and everything a summer vacation in the northwoods should be."

  • Excellent stay, Excellent cabin

"While the weather did not cooperate with us (rained every day) the cabin and the area were amazing. Chantal was a great help while we were there as well. Best of all, working with the owner Michael was great!! The scenery and seclusion were amazing as well. The cabin was extremely clean and very comfortable! The enclosed deck/patio was the best with amazing views of the lake. We will definitely be going back!"

  • Beautiful home and location! Perfect for a large group!

"What an amazing place, perfect for our two families (9 people). Whether we wanted to be all together or the kids wanted to hang out in the lower level, there was plenty of room to do so, even for meal time! The house was spectacularly clean and well kept. Management was great, Steve was always quick to respond to emails prior to arrival and checking in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything, which we didn't because the place had everything! They had water rentals available and a pontoon but we wanted to ski and tube. Steve even helped us with that, recommending a place to rent a ski boat just down the road, which we did! The lake was great, not too busy either. Views from the deck and firepit were so peaceful. Walleye Way was exactly what we were looking for and more. We had a great time, thanks for the memories!"
