  • Secluded Beauty

"We had a great time at this cabin. It truly is secluded and peaceful. The road getting in is a little rough and long, but well worth what waits at the end! The cabin has everything you need. There is a paddle boat, canoe, and row boat perfect for water activity. There are games, a radio, and TV with DVD's to use inside the cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are comfortable, ceiling fans in all rooms. Plenty of chairs inside the cabin and out with benches by the fire. Gas and charcoal grill also to use. The bug fogger was a nice addition, can't imagine how bad the bugs would be without it. Very nice suggestions for area activities and area restaurants. Would love to go here in the fall or even winter to use the ATV and snowmobile trails. As with other reviews, we did not have good luck fishing in the lake, but the kids did have fun trying, we did catch 1 nice perch. Overall, very beautiful and we had a fun relaxing time. Thank you to these owners for opening up this cabin for others to enjoy."

  • Nice place!

"This is such a beautiful place to stay. We loved how everything was decorated - the flooring, the great showers, the island and counter-tops. Our absolute favorite things were the peacefulness and quietude of the lake and the fact that there is no WiFi! What a great way to unplug! If you need the loft for sleeping quarters, you may want to bring a blow-up mattress, as the futon was very uncomfortable. The mattress in the master bedroom dips in the middle, but it could be because both my husband and I tend to turn towards the middle of the bed and we are used to a king sized bed. Overall, beautiful place. And Airbud is a great dog! :)"

  • Great location; excellent accommodations

"As others have noted, the cottage is a nice walking distance from town but removed from busy-ness. Appliances, including washer and dryer, are nicer than the ones in my own home! Appreciated having charcoal and lighter fluid there for us. Also appreciated Larry's quick responses to emails. Would definitely stay here again."
