  • Comfortable stay

"We stayed here for a family ski trip. We stayed in the main/upper level with a large group. The stay was great! The bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable. The house was updated and kitchen was really nice. There was plenty of seating with an island and table. The house was clean and well maintained. The owner was great to deal with as well as the caretaker. We called her to ask for some dishwasher soap and she brought it right away that night. The only thing that kept me awake was the bedroom doors were squeaky and the downstairs renters had 3 dogs. Other than that, I could not hear my family snoring in the other room. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."

  • Great vacation home!

"We (three couples) just stayed at Wildernest Chalet in Michigan. We rented the upper unit, which worked out well for our group. We used the three bedrooms .. didn't need the room with the single beds. It was easy to share the two large bathrooms for the six of us. The layout is very spacious and inviting .. also very well maintained. We also hiked through the snow to the toboggan run .. what a hoot!! We skied two days (a Monday & a Tuesday) at Indianhead. No one on the slopes .. and the best snow we remember ever skiing on in the UP. We would definitely recommend Wildernest and also return for another visit."

  • Quiet and comfortable

"We enjoyed our time unplugged at Otterdaway. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing in style, from dinnerware and cookware to comfortable furniture inside and outside, plus enough choices in watercraft to enjoy the lake. The photos and directions helped us anticipate what we were going to experience. We explored the gravel roads leading to the B-47 crash site and towns further north, and were graced by 5 eagles taking off along O'Brien Lake Road. We golfed Skye Whitecap Mountain for beautiful views and challenging fairways, and hiked 5 miles on the North Country National Scenic Trail near Mellen. There is something compelling about being unplugged and removed from TV, Internet and cell service - each day was our own to make. We appreciate Todd's call on the landline to make sure everything was as planned. We'd love to keep this place a secret, but hope others find their way north to this beautiful retreat."

  • Perfect for families and friends

"The Ramsay House is beyond our expectations. Tracy is very nice to answer every questions and send us reminder . The house is clean and well organized. I wound highly recommend this for your stay with up to 13 people either several families or with friends. Use 10516 Belmont Ave Ramsay, MI for your GPS destination. It's close to the Porcupine Mountains, which was one of our destinations for fall color. It's really a very good memory to stay here!"
