Crete villa rentals

Outside space of the villa was perfect to sit in shade in peak afternoon heat or sit by the pool. Villa was kept very clean by very friendly staff. More cooking equipment (more saucepans, crockery, another sharp knife) would be good. Sound travels very much from villas 8-9. We had very noisy families as neighbours during our stay. No one observed the “quiet” hours in afternoon. That was only real downside

Our stay was amazing! The house is clean, spacious and has fabulous views. The pool is was the perfect place to relax after a day of beach or exploring. Definitely need a car but roads in area are all excellent. Vagelis is a great communicator and met us to go over all the details. He had water in the fridge and even told us about a wonderful open market we greatly enjoyed. Thanks for a great trip!

Istros Villa had an amazing view from the balconies and pool area. It was very clean and updated. They had a small but very adequate kitchen. The sitting areas outside were lovely. We had a wonderful stay.

This villa is beautiful and the hosts were super helpful and communicative when needed. Pool is so lovely and gets sun all day. Kitchen was really well appointed and it's a short drive to any amenity you could desire (grocery store, restaurants, the beach). Lots of great local recommendations from hosts and previous guests. Some surrounding villas are being worked on/built as of Oct 2024, but workers were not noisy and we barely noticed. Would be happy to stay here again.

Please know that the pictures do not do the view justice- It has a perfect view of the sunset facing West with a panoramic view of the ocean. The infinity pool is a very generous size and easily one of the largest ive seen at any villa. The stars are amazing at night. The accommodations inside are fine and comfortable, but the real star of the place is the outside area. AC works wonderfully in high heat, beds are comfy, and the kitchen has most everything you need. The proximity to Elafonisi beach is very nice and can be reached (by the coastal road, if you ignore google) by 15 minutes. It is one of the main reasons you should stay here as most people have multi hour roundtrips to get to this beach. Do know the area is quite remote and roads are not for the faint of heart. If you want privacy, family/romantic time, great pool, beautiful sunsets this place is perfect. There are a few great tavernas that can be reached in 5-10 minutes (highly recommend "The West" in Kampos). It is a great base for a side of the island most do not see much of. There are a few other villas around but still nothing that should interfere with your privacy. Would stay again!

A lovely, well-appointed property with all the necessities in a quiet location. Very nice guest welcome pack with good recommendations for restaurants and local sites. Views from the house are stunning and communication with the owner was excellent and fluid.

This villa was beautiful, had extremely comfortable beds & everything you could ask for. Manolis was there to greet us & had left us very well supplied with milk, juice, bread as well as wine & olive oil. He provided us with many helpful tips on where to go & recommendations for places to eat all of which proved accurate. The villa was cleaned mid-week with fresh bed linen & towels also provided.. While the villa is a little out of the way to get to& you definitely need a car l couldn't recommend it highly enough for a very relaxing & enjoyable stay with a most helpful host.

Villa Anemona is the perfect place to escape your 9-5 lives. My husband and I loved staying here. Everything from the view, the pool, the sunsets, the solitude, and the villa itself made our visit beyond perfect. Birgitta was a fantastic host. Throughout the booking process she was easy to get in touch with and a great communicator. When we arrived to the villa she provided us with several staple items which were used throughout our stay. The bottle of Raki was delicious! Highly recommend!
