Haleakala, the world's largest dormant volcano, beckons in the distance with its spectacular sunrises. Maui is famous for its top rated diving, snorkeling, golfing and winter whale watching.

The view along with the aloha spirit is what Maui is all about! Swaying palms, sunrise, sunsets, aqua blue water, singing birds of paradise, wondrous turtles, schools of dolphins, winter snow birds and during the winter months, you can relax and watch the Whales, all from our fifth floor lanai in the condo.   • I stayed here for 5 nights and was nothing short of amazed at how nice the condo is. Everything in the condo appears to have been replaced very recently. The electronic entry into the unit is a really convenient feature and made coming and going a breeze. Flat panel tv's in the living room and bedroom were a really nice touch along with DVD/CD players. The Kitchen has everything you need for cooking and was great for entertaining our friends who live in Maui. The ocean view from the Lanai was really nice and the outside grills came in handy when cooking up some of the local fish we caught. The condo came well equipped with all beach items you would need like chairs, coolers, boogie boards etc. If I had to pick one thing that really stood out as the best thing about the condo, it would have to be the bed. It was as good as you will find in 4-5 star hotels. Really really comfortable. Just watch that you don’t cut the corner to close when passing by it when headed to the dresser or you will hit your shin. Ouch! Our friends who live in Maui thought it was one of the best condos they had seen for rent and were wondering if Court would rent on a full time basis to them. Nice job Court. Hopefully I can stay there again next time I am in Maui.

  • My husband and I just came back from Maui for our 10 yr Anniversary! We stayed at Kauhale Makai Unit #501, from 11/8/09-11/15/09, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was everything that it was represented to be from the pictures and the description. We found the location to be Clean, very quiet, serene, and comfortable. We especially liked the fact that we had our own balcony from which we could enjoy the view of the ocean and the daily sunrise/sunsets. Another big convenience was the well stocked kitchen. We could make it our home away from home by making dinner there at the condo when we wanted just a quiet dinner for two at the condo. The pool area was very well maintained. We swam there some evenings, and enjoyed the jacuzzi which was very relaxing. There are several good take-out restaurants, and a supermarket, Foodland, just a mile or two north on Kihei road, so we were able to stock the refrigerator with anything we needed for the days we just wanted to "chill" at the condo. Court was also very easy to get hold of in case we had any questions while we were at the condo. Thank you, Court, for providing wonderful vacation condo for our stay. We will definitely contact you again when we return to Maui.

  • This condo was centrally located in Kihei and was excellent! Clean, great view of pool and Ocean (beautiful sunsets!). We had a great visit and the condo had everything we needed for the two of us! The pot-luck BBQ on one of the nights was wonderful, the place is safe, quiet, and clean, well-maintained. I would highly recommend!

  • My boyfriend and I have to thank-you so much for making our trip to Maui unbelievable. Your condo was so beautiful and pictures do it no justice. We found the condo very warm and welcoming. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed a few evenings out on the lanai with a glass of wine just taking in our surroundings. The location is perfect and central to everything. The evenings were very relaxing and so was our time by the pool. We did many visits to different locations as we did end up renting a little jeep and even drove the road to Hana. Thank-you for all of your help during our booking process and there after. We did not want to leave Saturday evening and are already planning our return to Kihei next year and to your condo. Thank-you Court.

  • My husband and I just stayed here for our week long honeymoon. From the very beginning, we were impressed with the place. The condo is conveniently located near the airport, close to shopping, restaurants and right on the beach! The condo on the inside was gorgeous and is stocked with everything you might need for your vacation. Everything from beach essentials to pots and pans and other daily essentials. We will definitely be staying here again when we go back to Maui!

  • Location! Location! Location! This awesome condo is centrally located within 25-30 minutes of Lahaina, Wailea and Kahului. In addition to the spectacular sunset and ocean views from your lanai, Haleakala is visible from outside your entry way. Both the accommodations and the owner's service exceeded our high expectations. The on-site service manager mentioned that this was the nicest renovated unit on the property. The pictures barely do it justice. The kitchen, interior design and layout are exceptional for a vacation condo. We were amazed at how well stocked it is. For example, it has two ice chests, beach mattes, small beach umbrellas, mini float boards and almost anything you might need. This will now be our home away from home when we return to Maui.   • We just got back from 11 days on Maui. Our stay was a wonderful memorable experience and we will definatly stay at Kauhale Makai #501 again! It is a beautifully decorated unit with a view of the ocean and pool area. The unit is very clean and well supplied. We had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. I loved drinking my coffee on the lanai watching the sun come up every morning. Just thinking about it makes me miss it! The owner of the unit, Court was so nice, helpful and easy to reach. Can't wait to go back next year!

  • Wonderful!! We stayed the first 2 weeks in December. Court has made his condo very inviting and comfortable, with all the upgrades and ammenities. The veiw, perfect. We used the bus system on Maui to get around - and the bus stop was close by. Thanks Court for creating such a nice getaway - we'll be back.
