  We recently spent a week at 201 Beach Club - two adults & 3 girls (ages 2, 8, and 12). The condo was all we could ask for as the older girls had their own beds and the master bedroom was large enough to make a bed for the youngest. The older girls loved the TV in their room and the two iHomes in the condo for their iPods. We enjoyed having plenty of space, the large master bedroom and bathroom, a separate bathroom for the girls, and the in-condo washer & dryer. Everyone was happy with the wifi. The location of the complex was terrific with beach access just beyond the pool, making it easy to cart a day's worth of beach stuff from the condo to the beach. The large pool ("blue water" per my 2 y/o) and kiddie pool ("cat poo"l per the 2 y/o) were also a kid with the kids. The condo's location within the complex also worked well as it was near the elevator and a stairwell and there was never a noise issue. The condo and entire complex was very clean and well maintained. The pictures of the condo shown in the listing were very accurate with the exception of slightly different patio furniture (which didn't make any difference). The rental process was also as simple and smooth as one could imagine. As an overall vacation destination we were very happy to have chosen St. Simons Island. Very nice and relaxing beach, plenty of restaurants and golf, and we never felt crowded. Next beach vacation we will certainly consider a return to St. Simons and Beach Club unit 201.

  A most enjoyable trip for our family. Loved The Beach Club, pool & beach. Rented bikes from Monkey Wrench & enjoyed the village as well. Restaurants were amazing . . . Especially Crab Daddy's, Knats Landing, & Sal's Neighborhood Pizzeria.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

  My family stayed at 201 Beach Club for four nights. We really enjoyed our stay in this very nice condominium. The condo was "as advertised" on the VRBO website--the place is clean, bright, well-maintained, and looks just like the pictures. The furniture was nice and comfortable and all of the appliances were in good condition. The master bedroom and bathroom were large and there was enough room in the second bedroom to set up a “pack and play” for our infant daughter without rearranging furniture. It's hard to beat the location: the community is on the beach, there's a pool, and it is a moderate walk to the village. The condo was also quiet--there were no disturbances for our daughter. The patio was a great place to relax and enjoy the breeze and beach air. We had one minor maintenance issue which we reported to the owner, who had somebody dispatched to the condo within thirty minutes of my call. It should be noted that the unit does not directly overlook the beach. However, the photo shown on the site is accurate--you can see the ocean at an angle from the patio. With the beach a three minute walk from the unit, the lack of a beach view wasn’t an issue. When it comes time to return to St. Simon's, we would definitely rent 201 Beach Club again!

  Beach Club complex was in a great location for walking, biking, enjoying the beach and the pool and hot tubs. The grounds were very well maintained and the staff onsite were very friendly and helpful. The condo was very nice and as advertised. There is plenty to do and see on St. Simons Island and the island pace is very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this condo and complex and I would come back to St. Simons Island again.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  We had a very nice time. This unit is very private - on the end. It was very clean when we arrived and the owner was very nice and welcoming. We did not have to contact her while we were there, because everything was working perfectly! Not much of an ocean view, but who spends much time on the deck when you can actually be on the beach! We spent our time fishing and biking - and we love the turtle hospital on Jeckyll Island!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing.

  This condo has been on the rental market managed by ourselves since 2008. Our guest book reflects over 50 positive guest comments and none that are negative. We hope that some of the comments we selected will help you make your vacation decision to come to beautiful St Simons Island and to stay with us at the Beach Club 201! We live on the island and one of us is usually "on island" during guest stays to assist should anything need our attention. We respond typically within minutes and never more than an hour or so for any and all maintenance issues. Our maintenance contractor is available on call when needed!!

  This is one of our favorite places on Earth. This is our 2nd vaca down here and I love it! Heaven on earth. Such a beautiful place, perfect for a family. Very safe feeling, delicious foods. I definitely would like to retire here!
