My wife and I came back to Kauai after 20 years, bringing my mother for her 75th birthday. We can't say enough good things this unit and the resort. It had a perfect center view of the resort. The unit was immaculate and well-stocked and Gwen was a pleasure to work with. She was quite helpful, even making suggestions for dining in the area. The location is great, about halfway between Ke'e Beach on the North Shore and Waimea Canyon on the south side. Without question, we highly recommend the unit and working with Gwen. We hope to be back again in a lot less than another 20 years. Mahalo Gwen and kind regards.

My family and friends and I went to Kauai for my 40th birthday celebration. My mom & stepdad had been to Kauai 2x before but my friends and I had not. Kauai is such a beautiful "tropical" island. There is a ton of things to do and experience on the island and the scenery is amazing just about everywhere you go. We also feel extremely fortunate to have stayed in such a wonderful condo. From the moment we entered the unit until we closed the door to leave, our stay in Gwen's unit was amazing! The unit is extremely clean with an absolutely amazing view of the entire property. It is a perfect size for a family of five or six. Having both rooms with King beds was great and for my son the inflatable mattress was absolutely perfect. The great thing about the complex itself is that it is directly across the street from the Safeway and it is right in the middle of Kauai so it doesn't take long to get to one side or the other. The pool was extremely clean and really nice with plenty of deck chairs etc. My 8year old son would have stayed in the pool from the time it opened until they locked the gate if we would have let him. My parents typically stay in hotels when they travel but after staying in Gwen's vacation unit they have said that they would rather stay there. Thank you for an absolutely unforgetable stay!

I would recommend this property without reservation. The unit is outstanding and the complex is fantastic. Another plus is the central location making it easy to visit all of the island. The owner was a pleasure to work with because she made the process easy.

we stayed at Gwen's place for our first trip to Kauai. We were extreamly happy with the condo the minute we walked in the door. Their island home had everything we needed for a great week of rest and relaxation. The photos of the property were acurate and I believe we had the best view in the whole place. The condo was clean and welcoming. Gwen was very helpful from my first email to her. She responded quickly (where i was having a hard time even getting answers from other properties we were interested in) she answered all of our questions, was helpful in working with our plans and was very quick in returning our deposit after our stay. We would recommend this condo and Gwen to anyone we know visiting the island. We have been visiting Oahu every year for 10 years but this was our first trip to Kauai and we loved it so much that we plan to include a trip to Kauai every year going forward. It was one of the most beautiful places we have visited!

My husband and I stayed here in April 2010 with close friends of ours. I spent an incredible amount of time searching different properties and feel so lucky to have found this. The condo was immaculate and the location was perfect for exploring both the North and South parts of the island (and explore we did!!). We did spend 1 day by the pool which was wonderful. Kauai was by far our favourite island and we would not hesitate at all to return to this property. The owners were very communicative, and had everything ready upon our arrival. A truly perfect vacation....thank you.

What a lovely condo! It was perfect for our family...the location, the amenities, the pool...all of it! We loved the unit with all the little extras provided for our use: cooler, beach chairs, snorkel equipment. Gwen had it all! The kitchen was well equipped and we loved it! The unit is well maintained and was spotless upon our arrival. The pictures look just like the unit and the view from the lanai both during the day and at night are gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone visiting Kauai!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Ocean View Penthouse. The condo was nicely decorated, neat, clean, quiet and well equipped. We felt very comfortable there. The views from the three lanais were awesome. The pool was spectacular and looked even more so at night from the lanai. The location was perfect. This condo is conveniently located across from a shopping market that had most anything you would need...even Starbucks! There were many other very good eateries close by. A couple of our favorites were the Hukilau restaurant where we had an excellent dinner and the Olympic Cafe where we had a great breakfast burrito (be hungry or you might want to share with someone!). The owners were a delight to work with in arranging our accommodations. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others. Mahalo!

The Waipouli Beach Resort is a wonderful place for families to vacation (the kids will love the pool and water slides), but also a perfect place for exhausted adults to retreat and recharge their batteries. This unit is wonderful. It is decorated very tastefully, will seat up to 10 for meals, and is fully equipped with beach gear and a pack n' play. The kitchen is terrific and has everything a cook needs. The large capacity washer and dryer are perfect keeping wet beach wear clean and ready-to-go. The large soaking tub in the Master bathroom is just decadent! We did not have a car and found we never needed one. Safeway, Longs and several restaurants are right across the street. There are other restaurants next door and within walking distance. The town of Kapaa is just a mile away, making an evening stroll along the beach to dinner a good way to get exercise while enjoying the ocean views. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this unit for anyone whether you are honeymooners, couples wanting to share a condo, or a family. Have a great time!

The island of Kauai is a fantastic place to visit. The condo is even better than the pictures. Gwen was very helpful and easy to deal with. We are going to return to Kauai next year and hope to stay here again.
