    • What an awesome getaway! Plenty of room for a family of 5 (and puppy) to spread out; all the amenities of home. We used the house as a launching pad for day trips to the American and Yuba Rivers + gold town in Grass Valley. Thanks Diane for a wonderful place to stay. ~ Brian, Cyndi, Darryl, Evan, Austin, and Maile (our Aussie).

    • Eight of us had a wonderful time at the Log House for the weekend. The house was so comfortable. We loved the spa, the hammocks, the ping pong table and the stream! The kitchen has everything you need. This place was better than I had hoped for. The only problem was that the time went by too quickly! Thanks for sharing your wonderful place.

    • We wish we were still there! This fabulous, clean, open yet cozy log home is awesome! Space for everyone together & separate. Good stock of games for after dinner fun. Great backyard and dogs welcome made it so we could enjoy with our dogs. The hammock was the frosting on the cake outside as the upstairs bathroom was for inside! We could go on & on but instead just highly recommend you enjoy for yourselves! Diane, the owner, couldn't be nicer to work with. Thank you, Diane!

    • Wonderful! Wonderful! Just spent 5 great days in this lovely, comfortable, family friendly home. Stayed in more than we planned because it so comfortable and relaxing. Our little dogs frolicked in the backyard, played in the creek, chased wild turkeys over the fence. (Opps sorry to offend any wildlife people all are fine) Deer in front yard 2 mornings, Doe and 2 fawn wandering thru... to the creek to drink. This is not a real seclueded home but... you would not know there are neighbors. Water low but there sure were fish, we were so relaxed and happy. Thank you Diane for sharing with us your beautiful log home, what a treat!

    • Just returned from a relaxing stay at this clean comfortable home. The picture do not do this home justice! We played golf for two days. The Dark Horse Golf Course is the 7th best golf course according to Golf Digest and is only 15 minutes away. If you play golf, this course is a must! The homeowner is a vibrant, lively woman who is welcoming and wants to share the beauty and peacefulness of her home with you. You wont be sorry if you stay here. We promise!! P.S. The Jacuzzi tub is and added bonus after two days of golf!

    • Your home is lovely! Our small group came here for a retreat and we were very comfortable. Everything we needed was at hand and we especially loved the little touches like the hammock in the backyard. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home.

    • We just came back from this lovely cabin. It was 20 mins away from Auburn (the meeting place for our Middle Fork rafting tour). And after a long day of paddling, it's nice to get onto the hammock, listen to the sound of the creek, and fall asleep! And the creek was awsome, our little pug had so much fun there he refused to go back to the cabin with us! We tried to pan for gold at the creek, didn't strike it rich this time, we'll try again if we go back to this area in the future.

    • We had a great time at this log home in Grass Valley (3-16 to 3-20). Our three kids had a lot of fun playing at the stream, and two of them even dunked in one warm day (on purpose)! The area is beautiful and the house was very comfortable for our family of five. I loved sitting on the back patio with my book and cup of coffee on the sunny mornings listening to the stream. It was stocked with everything we needed…a wonderful home away from home.

    • We just returned from a wonderful weekend at this home.( 9/28 to 9/30 ) This home is lovely and very peaceful. My twenty-one year old grandson wanted to disassemble the house and take it back to Nevada with us....=) The house is spacious and cozy all at the same time. There were eight in our party and there was plenty of room for us all. We had eighteen people in the house for dinner on Friday night ( part of a wedding party ) and there was plenty of room for us all to eat and enjoy ourselves. The wood stove worked great and gave the house a very cozy feeling. The kids and grandkids really enjoyed it. Thank you Diane for a very nice place to stay.
