Why the Owner Chose Kahana
In my profession of Real Estate I had the opportunity of seeing all the West Maui Condominium projects and ultimately when I found the Condominium that had it all I acquired this Oceanfront Unit at Royal Kahana. After experiencing the best location for beach, serenity, the sound of the ocean and 240 degree panoramic views for two years I set out to design the ultimate interior finishes and amenities to capitalize on these natural surroundings. The design from the sand colored travertine floors to the unobstructed Molokai and Lanai Island views beyond the brilliant blue ocean can barely be described in pictures. However there is a Virtual Tour to provide the best idea of what to expect.

The views from this Oceanfront Condo is what captures everyone's attention as they walk in the front door but ultimately it is the comforts of a Maui home combined with the natural beauty that makes my guests say simply "Wow". The floor plan which is over 1500 square feet including the wrap around lanai makes you feel the sense of the ocean no matter where they are in the unit. I have my home about 5 minutes from this Condominium and yes even I go there to vacation from time to time. When the unit was extensively renovated a couple of years ago I designed it so that in the future it would become my Oceanfront home. In the meantime it gives me great pleasure to share this space and experience with my guests. This uncrowded beachfront location provides you opportunities to walk the beach at dawn, spend your day on the sand or at the pool and enjoy a magnificent sunset without ever leaving the resort. The units is completely stocked with all amenities that you will need and there are even plush towels and high thread count linens that give you that 5 star experience. The resort is located within walking distance to shops, convenience store, six restaurants and beach activities. As one of my guests commented "When we did go out for the day we couldn't wait to get back to our condo each evening". If you want that relaxing, uncomplicated vacation that you deserve, this is the place.

I am 15 year resident (kama'aina) of Hawaii. Although I spent a considerable time on all of the Islands in my first two years in the Hospitality Industry I knew that Maui was home. Although, originally from southeast Michigan I left the four seasons with its mixture of the winter wind chill factor and the summers of comparable 90+ temperatures and humidity and headed for Colorado in 1984. After the experience of living predominantly in the mountains of Colorado in Winter Park, Evergreen, and Aspen I moved to Hawaii in 1994. An extensive 20 year career in the Hotel Industry which brought me initially to the Hawaiian Islands concluded 10 years ago when I began my dream job of selling Real Estate in Maui. The combination of these two careers has provided me the background and experience to proide for my guests the accommodations for the most memorable Maui vacation.
