A Truly Pleasant Home for a Wonderful Get-Away

My family was provided the use of this home as part of a family respite from cancer treatments. We brought our seven young children here for a week and found the accomodations to be very, very pleasant. The house is nicely decorated and completely supplied with everything we needed for a week. The deep bath tubs and the hot tub were a hit for everyone. It was very easy to make the temperature comfy wherever we were in the house. There are two large water heaters, which was perfect for our large family. We loved being so close to the gondola, and my children and husband have ridden it a number of times to go to City Market. (That was just the excuse to ride again.) We are just a short walk from the summer-time mountain activities like the alpine slide, bungee jumper, climbing wall, "gold" panning, and much more. The wild flowers in the yard have been a pleasure to us all, the views are wonderful and restful, and the activities of all kinds within a very short distance have made this home a wonderful place for us to spend a week of our summer.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The pictures for this house on the website do not do it justice...it is beautiful inside, very clean, and spacious! The house is in a perfect location...ski rental center, peak 8 lifts, and gondola to town are only a 5 minute walk away. There is a way to ski-in, but we never took the time to figure it out. The hot tub was essential after a long day of skiing, and we found the heated floors to be a nice touch! Just a suggestion: If you are renting a car, I would highly recommend an SUV. We made the mistake of getting 2 cars, and we had a really tough time getting them up the street and driveway (even though they were plowed and shoveled)! This was the car's fault, not the home owners, and is just a suggestion for future renters! Since we could not take our cars out once we finally got them in the driveway, it was nice to have a "Free Ride" bus that picked us up about 2 blocks away from the house and takes you anywhere you want to go around Breckenridge. There are also taxi companies you can call that will pick you up (if you can get ahold of them) and are very decently priced. Overall, we were extremely pleased with this house! I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again when vacationing in Breckenridge!
