BONJOUR Paris! because it dates from the dawn of Paris.
Few apartments in Paris combine authentic wood beams and stones walls dating back the medieval ages. No expenses were spared to implement floor lights to highlight the beauty of the archeological walls; coupled with Louis XV mirrors and chandeliers. Back in times, it was occupied by the King's Knights.
This apartment is quiet, although located in one of the most visited street of Paris, Rue St Severin, steps from Notre-Dame, in the heart of historical Paris.
There is a King size bed and a double-bed in the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower. For those who really want to sample a flavor of Paris, BONJOUR PARIS! will be a true authentic Parisian experience!
LOCATION:
Contrary to their claim of being in the true center of Paris, most Hotels and apartments are not. Apply the 1-minute-rule, ask are any studio you want less than 1-minute-walk from the river? This studio is less than a minute walk, steps from the river in the historic heart-of-the-heart of Paris. Arguably the most lovely location in Paris, because a walk at midnight over the magic bridges will allow you to soak the wonders of Paris then walk safely home, after dark among all the tourists in the brightly lit streets lined with shops, bakeries, cafe and restaurants and opened late.
HIDDEN SAVINGS:
You will also save money. First by walking everywhere and avoid taxis and / or public transportation. Secondly, you will save money on food, the apartment is near a fantastic SUPER Gourmet Stores and famous fresh market “Marche Maubert” known to Parisians mainly, which offers the most delicious fresh and cooked food, cheese, bread and finest wines.
LE METRO
1 Minute walk to subway St Michel and 2 min. walk to RER B direct line to CDG Aiport.

The location is truly fabulous and the apartment sleeps four comfortably. The owners are pleasant and provided all the information we needed to find the place and there was no trouble getting into the building or the apartment. Great restaurants, easy walk to Notre Dame and the beautiful St. Severin church is directly across the street. Access to the Metro is just around the corner which is great and the north line runs right to the airport which is very convenient. Minuses are: needs a shower curtain and a bathmat, the kitchen is a two burner stove (there is no oven) and there is a one cup French press for making coffee. A few more blankets and pillows would be nice as well for the winter months and the laundry facilities were approximately 3 blocks away. There is no living room (sofa, comfy chair) which would definitely make it more comfortable. Would be a good apartment for small family or two adults.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bonjour Paris from August 29th through September 5th. The apartment was located in a fantastic part of Paris, close to many wonderful restaurants, tourist locations and the Metro. It was nicely decorated, with lovely exposed stone walls, and was spacious for our family of three and had the all important tub for our daughter. Claude and Violaine are wonderful hosts! We can't wait to visit again.

What can I say except what a wonderful way to experience Paris staying at "Bonjour" Paris. Right from our first contact with Claude it was the most wonderful experience. I hadnt used vrbo.com before so having someone who I instantly trusted was fantastic. All communications were timely and informative. The location in the Latin Quarter is literally a stones throw from Notre Dame....all the buzz of Paris outside and then you open the apartment door, close it behind you and you are taken back to Paris from centuries ago. The stone wall is something else. We expected it to be much smaller than it was. Two very comfortable queen beds, the most gorgeous French window opening up to let the day in every morning was a highlight. Great shower and hot water. I cant believe you can rent such a great apartment for such a great price in that location. Its not 5 star but we didnt want 5 star. We wanted to experience Paris like a local....we were certainly able to do that. Avoid the restaurants outside the door venture a little away and find one where the locals go. We're early risers so it was off to the Boulingerie for a baguette and coffee. We stayed a week and wished it could have been a year....thank you Claude and Violaine.

Our family of five (kids 15, 12 & 9) enjoyed a wonderful stay at Bonjour Paris! The location was amazing - we loved being right in the thick of the action in the Latin Quarter, walking to the boulangerie for croissants and the dozens of restaurants in our street. We couldn't believe the minute we stepped through the door - absolute silence! Thanks Claude & Violaine, we loved Paris and would definitely stay at Bonjour Paris! again.

Right in the heart of Paris! What more could you ask for.....well let me tell you....secret pass codes, keys to locked doors, and the quaintest Parisian apartment we had ever seen. So much fun! And the looks you get when you come out the door right beside St Severin Church. All I could think was, yep! I'm a local. Add to this the blessing of having a fantastic companion who was fabulous company - we had an amazing time in Paris. Not only could we walk out the door and find somewhere to eat within a minute, or jump on the train within two, it was wonderful being chased around Europe by men - great for the ego: stopping us in the street, coming up and chatting for no reason, asking for our number, asking to meet with us later. Not that we did meet with them....just giggled. So…..rude and arrogant French? Where? Certainly not anywhere I went – people were friendly and happy and as long as we were patient and respectful they returned the same in kind. Bonjour Paris! Every morning I woke up with a silly grin on my face - I looked up at the beams, sun coming through the curtains and the historic wall beckoned for me to put my hands on it again. Paris is now my home away from home (I left my heart there somewhere), and Bonjour Paris! will be the first place I try and stay whenever I’m in town.

My daughters and I visited Paris for a week in June of 2011 and we were fortunate to book this apartment during our visit. The owners did not have an entire week open but were able to accomodate us for three nights at another nearby apartment and then four nights at this location. They even made the transition easy when the property manager moved all our luggage for us. I thought that was very kind of him. (Luggage for three women... Not a light load, you know?!) Traveling with my daughters, ages 15 & 18, I take security and safety very seriously. We had never been to Paris but it is a very large city and so I was a little nervous. I needn't have worried. The apartment was very secure. It has a passcode entry at the front door which is located on a well traveled pedestrian street. After you enter the front door, there is a very heavy iron gate that you have a key to open and then, finally, your apartment door which has another lock on it. Never once on our entire trip did I feel unsafe in our surroundings. The apartment is comfortable and we thought the decor was very "french". We loved the cluster of chandeliers in the corner that lit the room! It's not the Ritz, you've got to be willing to buy toilet paper if you run out and bring your own towels, but in my opinion the tradeoff is definitely worth it. You have a lot more space and the location can't be beat. Both beds were comfortable and roomy and could easily accomodate four people. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. I cannot tell you how much money we saved by shopping at the local grocery store and eating our breakfast and dinner at the apartment. We ate our lunches out while we were exploring the city, came back for a simple but tasty dinner and then headed back out for the evening. The location is superb, close to activities at the Notre Dame, Luxumbourg Gardens, Shakespeare & Co. bookstore, Cluny Museum and so much more. We ate so much good food but never gained an ounce thanks to being able to walk almost everywhere. When we chose to take the Metro, it was just a two minute walk to the St. Michel station. I was a bit worried about not speaking French but even though we ran into a number of people who did not speak English, we always managed to communicate. I would like to put an end to the "Rude Parisian" rumor. We English speaking Americans were treated kindly on our entire trip. Would we return to Paris and this apartmenet? YES, I mean OUI!

This apt is in a great location in the Latin quarter no matter which direction you head when exiting the door. Metro and RER station within 1 block. Historical sites, grocery store, cafes, shopping, parks.... Perfect. The beds were comfortable and apt quiet. Having the kitchen was a nice convenience. 4 can stay comfortably. Would rent again. Loved all of the wonderful info and tips Claude and Violane provided. Perfect addition to our perfect trip.

Everything about the Bonjour Paris apartment was perfect, especially the location. The kitchen was equipped so you could fix basic meals, the bed was very comfortable, there was a tub and shower (with great water pressure), plenty of room for the two of us, and although it was surrounded by restaurants and shops, it was very quiet and private. It was amazing to step outside the front door of the building right into the streets of Paris, just as if we lived there. A majority of the sights were within walking distance and those that weren’t you could jump on the Metro, which was only a couple blocks from the apartment, and reach your destination in minutes. The large number of restaurants and near by market/deli made either eating in or eating out very convenient even late in to the evening. Thank you Claude and Violaine for making our 25th wedding anniversary an absolute fairy tale.

This small apartment is ideal for 2 people - there is ample room to move around, very close to all attractions (walking distance). It is also very quiet- good for sleeping. The kitchen is small but adequate with a microwave and stove. The only improvement could be better lighting. Definitely recommended and will return when in Paris again!
