The Happy Fiddler is just a 2 minute walk to the quaint 'beachy' center of Indian Rocks Beach. Choose from over a dozen eating places, from Italian fine dining to the famous Crabby Bills seafood; there is live entertainment in waterfront venues, intimate french dining and best of all - no need to take the car!
Further afield is all that Pinellas county has to offer in the way of entertainment, shopping, culture, sports, golf, amusement parks and more. With this fabulous beachside jewel and so many things to do, you will want to rebook year after year!
Each bedroom has a water view, one facing the beach the other the intra coastal waterway. The Balcony off the Living Room overlooks lush tropical gardens and sand dunes and then the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. A modern fully equipped kitchen, light and airy living/dining room and two full bathrooms complete the package.
There is a King size bed in the main bedroom and the second bedroom has two doubles. For a fifth guest or child, we keep a foldaway bed.
The beachside pool with sun loungers is a perfect place to while away a few hours with a good book, or beachcomb along the pristine sands of Indian Rocks Beach. Across the street from your vacation home is a dock and walkway alongside the intracoastal waterway, from here you can fish, or just watch the passing boat traffic and birdlife, manatees and dolphins.
Just a short walk south of the condos is a new boat rental place with a variety of watercraft, bikes, kayaks and more for hire.
Just minutes across the Walsingham bridge to the mainland with supermarkets, banks, shopping and cultural attractions, makes this a great base for your Gulf Beaches Vacation.
Pinellas County and across Tampa Bay, Hillsborough County offer many diversions for our visitors. Busch Gardens, Adventure Island two parks adjacent to one another in Tampa are wonderful day visits particularly for families with children. The Florida Aquarium is a multi million dollar facility showing all types of marine and wildlife in Florida, this is in the new downtown Channelside area of Tampa.
Downtown St Petersburg has the Salvador Dali Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Florida Museum, Holocaust Museum and a host of smaller gallieries and parks, the waterfront and marina and of course the famous 4 storey Pier.
During the winter months there is a weekly farmers market, throughout the year there are free concerts and other outdoor events, and its lovely to wander around the historic downtown, stopping at one of the many great eating places or lively bars.
Pinellas County has two of the top USA ranked beaches, Caladesi Island and Fort de Soto state parks. In between these are over 20 miles of glorious white sand, pristine beaches, all open to the public.
Shopping is a favorite pastime of visitors to our area and in Pinellas county we have within easy driving of the condo, Tyrone Square Mall, Countryside Mall, and Largo Mall. In Tampa there is the fabulous International Mall, with designer stores, a huge choice of dining spots and at night the Bay Street Shops and restaurants turn into a buzzing night spot. Just across the breathtaking Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Manatee County is the Prime Outlets mall at Ellenton, with cutprice designer goods of all kinds on offer, including Polo, Saks 5th Ave, Gap, Nike and 100s more.
While you are here, check out the atmospheric smaller towns of Dunedin - an arty waterfront town and Tarpon Springs, with its historic sponge docks and very Greek, mediterranean flavor and downtown Safety Harbor.
If that hasn't tired you out, sport is our big thing here too!
Golf, tennis, water sport of every kind particularly fishing, pro football, baseball and hockey during season and winter training and games for baseball.
Don't want to drive too much? We have a great public transport system and all along the beaches from Clearwater to St Petersburg beach you can hop on and off the Jolly Trolley street car, low price single fares or weekly passes can be purchased locally.
