The Fiddler on the Beach is just a 2 minute walk to the quaint 'beachy' restaurant and shopping district of Indian Rocks Beach, and best of all - no need to take the car!
Further afield is all that Pinellas county has to offer in the way of entertainment, shopping, culture, sports, golf, amusement parks and more.
Each bedroom has a water view, one facing the beach the other the intra coastal waterway. The Balcony off the Living Room overlooks lush tropical gardens and sand dunes and then the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. A modern fully equipped kitchen, light and airy living/dining room and two full bathrooms complete the package.
There is a King size bed in the main bedroom and the second bedroom has two doubles. For an adult or child, we keep a foldaway bed.
The beachside pool with sun loungers is a perfect place to while away a few hours with a good book, or beachcomb along the pristine sands of Indian Rocks Beach.
Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, two parks adjacent to one another in Tampa are wonderful day visits particularly for families with children.
Downtown St Petersburg has several world renowned museums and a host of smaller galleries and parks, the waterfront and marina.
Pinellas County has two of the top USA ranked beaches, Caladesi Island and Fort de Soto state parks. In between these are over 20 miles of glorious white sand, pristine beaches, all open to the public.
While you are here, check out the atmospheric smaller towns of Dunedin - an arty waterfront town and Tarpon Springs, with its historic sponge docks and very Greek, mediterranean flavor and downtown Safety Harbor.
If that hasn't tired you out, sport is our big thing here too!
Golf, tennis, water sport of every kind particularly fishing, pro football, baseball and hockey during season and winter training and games for baseball.
Don't want to drive too much? We have a great public transport system and all along the beaches from Clearwater to St Petersburg beach you can hop on and off the Jolly Trolley street car, low price single fares or weekly passes can be purchased locally.

We absolutely love Indian Rocks Beach and this unit at the Happy Fiddler! This is our 3rd time back to the same unit. The beach and pool are never crowded which is one of our favorite parts about this spot. The condo is close to lots of shopping and "beachy" restaurants. It is wonderfully decorated with beach decor and the view from the balcony is great! This year we actually got married down on the beach! We never want to go back home after being there. Can't wait for our next trip!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! I am very late on writing this review as we stayed 2/27 through 3/4/2011. The accomodations were very nice and we had an amazing view of the pool, the beach and ocean. The condo is a two story townhouse, which gives you lots of privacy if your sleep schedules are different. It was very quiet during this week. We will definitely go back and stay here again! We had an amazing time at the Happy Fiddler. The condo is very comfortable and well equipped for most needs. The pool area and grounds well kept and clean and all right on the beach. The view from both sides was lovely, especially the incredible sunsets over the gulf. We also enjoyed the location for its lack of congestion, but also walking distance to many spots for happy hour and dinner and also the trolley stop. I would highly recommend this condo for small groups, families, or couples. It was great and we plan to go back!

Really enjoyed our stay and I am very picky. The beach was conveniently located. The condo had a very clean, crisp, comfortable decor. The master bed was super comfy. Several restaurants that you could walk to. Great for fishing. I hope to stay again next year. Go nearby and visit Heritage Village a historic village for all age groups.

We just completed a very enjoyable & relaxing vacation and wanted to provide feedback. The condo was more than adequate for our family of four, and being right on the beach was awesome! The overall location was great - close enough to get to a few small stores & restaurants without a car, and not too far from the action down at John's Pass Pier. Only minor inconveneience we had was accessing the owners woireless network. Not a big deal, since afterall, we were on vacation. :-)
