A lovely trail that runs through a unique rock garden with indian grinding holes and alongside the small seasonal creek at the back of the property, it is the perfect vacation place any time of the year. Located in Dunlap, California, with an asphalt paved drive and parking located steps away from the front door. Approximately 3 miles off Hwy. 180 (Kings Canyon Hwy) and easy access on Dunlap Road (a less traveled and well maintained road). The surrounding area offers a wide variety of summer and winter activities. Our goal is to provide the discriminating traveler with an affordable, clean and comfortable getaway.
The Cottage is located approximately 15 miles from the Big Stump Park Entrance to Kings Canyon National Park. Open 365 days per year, 24 hours daily, Kings Canyon features a gift shop, restaurant, post office, Visitor information center and exhibits. The Sequoia National Park is California's first National Park established in 1890. Kings Canyon National Park was established in 1940. Both Parks cover a total of 865,257 acres. There are 1464 species of plants, including the largest living thing on earth, the Sequoia, and more than 327 species of animals to enjoy while at the park. Popular sights include the General Sherman Tree, the largest living tree on earth, Moro Rock, the Giant Forest, Kings River, free Ranger-led walks, and more!!
There are more than 800 miles of marked trails for hiking fun. The Cottage is located off Highway 180 on Dunlap Road, 35 minutes drive to Fresno and is approximately four to five hours from Los Angeles or San Francisco off of Freeway 99. Forget the other crowded National Parks and eating out at expensive restaraunts...Just shop on your way up so you can prepare healthy, quick & easy meals! Vacation at your home away from home!!

ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION:
Peak Season and Holiday rates vary. CALL FOR SPECIALS
Off Season Begins October 1 through March 31.
1) NO PETS ALLOWED (Some visitors have allergies) and NO SMOKING INSIDE THE COTTAGE.
2) One night stay Deposit required. Balance due in cash at check-in. We accept personal checks and PAYPAL for deposit.
3) Notice of cancellation must be given 30 days or more prior to check-in date for any refund. $50.00 cancellation fee applies to any cancellation.
4) Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. sharp. Check in 2:00 p.m.
5) Four people maximum during stay. (some exceptions)
6)If you are celebrating a special occasion and would like to surprise someone, contact Paige for further assistance.
7)One Time CLEANING FEE $15.00-$30.00 will apply per Stay (not a per person charge)
