Nestled right on the water in Brown's Point, you will enjoy the view across the Sound to Tacoma and Point Defiance. Just watching the tides change will fascinate you. At low tide, you may have 30 feet of stoney beachfront, but at high tide, the waters lap against the foundation, making it feel like you are on a cruise ship. The occasional seal will pop it's head up and sometimes bark aloud. In the summer, the deck is the place to be. A great view and secluded. Every room of the house looks out over water and the family room window is large enough for the whole family to sit and enjoy the view. We enjoyed our week in the summer so much, the family returned for the week of Thanksgiving. The wood burning stove kept us warm and comfortable. The house is a close drive to Tacoma and SeaTac airport. The Brown's Point Diner, which was a minute away was a good place to stop for breakfast and dinner. The house is in a great neighborhood which we enjoyed walking each morning. Including a walk to the Brown's Point Lighthouse. Did I mention you have a great view of the Lighthouse from the house? I could go on, but rent it for a few nights and see for yourself.

I have stayed here on two trips a year apart. Seals, sea lions, and otters swim past your living room and kitchen windows. Kayak off of your private dock! Sleep upstairs in the master bedroom and listen to waves lap the shore all night.Watch giant ships head to dock or out to sea and kite surfers blast around the dramatic bay! This is a seaside enthusiasts dream house! I will definitely saty whenever I am out there!

Beautiful scenery not to mention boats, water critters and the sound of crashing waves right outside our windows--so nice! This property is spacious, well-stocked and the owners are great to work with. Overall easy and pleasant experience and recommended for anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

My mother inlaw was visiting us from South Africa and we wanted to treat her to some of the Puget Sounds beauty for a couple of nights. Myself being a seattle native, I thought I had seen it all, well I was blown away! First off I have to say that the pictures don't do it justice. I couldn't have asked for a better place. Views of the sound thru every window, large deck practically on the water. We went kyaking everyday with the sea otters. MAGNIFICENT!! When the tide is in, you just lower the kyaks in the water FROM THE DECK and jump on in. I will definitly be returning asap and can't wait to stay there during the winter with all the storms going on. We didn't leave the beach house much during our 3 day stay but everything is conveniently located, restuarants, shopping and tacoma (the glass gallery) was just 30min away. I could go on and on but will finish by saying that I highly recommend this place for anyone.

When I booked a week, I was excited about the opportunity to be on the waterfront. I had no idea just how spectacular it would be until we arrived and walked down the charming walkway to the top of the stairs... Wow! The view is expansive & just stunning! We enjoyed our days on the beach, and restful evenings spent sitting on the deck listening to the waves & watching the sun set behind the gorgeous Olympic mountain range. There is always something new to see, with all manner of boats, big and small, going in and out of the bay. The house itself was very charming, well decorated, and comfortable, with a view of the water from every room in the house. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed both cooking at home (there are stores nearby) and ordering take-out from local restaurants (several will deliver). The washer/dryer was appreciated and came in handy after beach play. The hosts are gracious and accomodating. Our time was truly relaxing:) Thank you, we will be back again & again!
