You can choose from three master bedroom suites, if you decide on the one downstairs you'll have the entire wing to yourself. Your double shower looks out on the beach and so does your jacuzzi jetted tub! No need to fight over the closet space, you each have your own closet. You can walk out to your private patio and light a fire in the wood burning fireplace, or if you want to stay inside you have a gas burning fireplace in the bedroom to keep you cozy. If you choose the master bedroom upstairs, you'll enjoy your own private balcony to search for whales or just watch the ships go by. The bath is equipped with double sinks and a shower and bath combination. The third bedroom is equipped with a queen bed and a fireplace for those crisp fall evenings. The kids have their own space in one of two dens, they can curl up and read or *gulp* play video games on the play room tv. Hopefully you will keep them busy on beach finding shells and identifying sea stars on your nearly private beach. Neighbors are hard to come by, but memories won't be!

Angie was an amazing host. The property is incredible. Pretty much you own private beach as far as the eye can see. The house was beaufiful and is perfect for anyone looking for privacy and relaxation.
Second year in a row staying here with my family. We just love this place!! It is gorgeous and peaceful. We spend hour’s walking the beach during the day and s’more making contests at night over the seaside fire pit. You will not regret staying here!!
This was the second time we stayed in this beautiful home. We arrived during a big wind storm which was very exciting. The power stayed on while we watched the waves crash over the seawall. The remainder of our stay was filled with lots of sun and beach combing. We loved the brand new remodeled shower in the main bedroom. A great place to recharge for sure!
We had an amazing time at this property for the week from Christmas to NYE. The property and the views were beautiful and it was the perfect place for our family to reconnect. Also, our host Angie went above and beyond to answer any questions and to make sure we enjoyed our time. An issue came up on the day of our arrival with a windstorm that impacted the power and the internet. She was onsite and had the power resolved before I even turned airplane mode off on my phone. By far the friendliest and most responsive host we've ever had during our many VRBO stays.
We had a wonderful stay! The views of Mt. Rainier were absolutely stunning, and we loved watching all the wildlife right from the property. It was the perfect balance- close enough to enjoy Seattle during the day, yet peaceful and quiet for unwinding in the evenings. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Angie was fantastic to communicate with. We also loved exploring the island’s charming shops and great restaurants. Truly a gem of a place!
This is our fourth time stay on this property and it never disappoints. Location is beautiful , house is welcoming , modern and plenty of room for our family. Can’t wait to return to this amazing home. Thank you for being such great hosts !!
Property is lovely and perfect for our family to gather around the holidays. We've now stayed three years in a row, and the set up is ideal, and the location right on the water unparalleled.

I stayed here years ago and now it’s renovated bra
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home away from home. Very comfortable place with lots of amenities. The views of Mt Rainier are spectacular as are the wildlife sightings from sea birds to Orcas.
It has the most beautiful views, location and privacy of any rental on Vashon. We can't wait to go back. The renovations are amazing and perfectly inviting.
We stayed at the property for the second consecutive New Year’s weekend with a group of extended family. The perfect place for our family to gather and connect for a few days. The location on the water, with views of Mount Rainer, is superb.
The most amazing property with a gorgeous view of Mt. Ranier. I could sit on that beach all day. All bedrooms are master suites, Kitchen is fully stocked. Outside of picking up a few groceries everything was there. The host was phenomenal and didn't miss one detail. Heated toilet seats!!So many good restaurants and I would go back tomorrow if I could. Definitely try the Vashon Bake Company, Snapdragon and Anthony's at the Tacoma Ferry. Those were our favorites but they were all good. You will not be disappointed with this property.
We had a beautiful stay. 2 daughters and their husbands along with Mom. The place was the perfect size. The travel to the house was well worth it. Vision is a beautiful island.
The most perfect place for a family gathering. Something for everyone. Great local grocery store, yummy bakery, cute shops, dolphins swimming by, and unbelievable views of Mt. Rainier. Kayaks, paddle board, games and beach walking galore. Cozy beds, comfy couch’s, plenty of outdoor dining and seating. Rocking chairs for old and young. If you what the ultimate PNW experience, this is it. Angie is so nice….so easy to communicate with … and cute as a button! Go. Enjoy. You will love it.

About the host
Hosted by Angie
We love Vashon! We recently bought this as a second home and while we wish we could spend every waking moment in it, we have 2 very busy boys who keep us running to basketball tournaments and baseball games constantly! That means you get to use it until things quiet down-- in about a decade.
Why they chose this property
I told the hubs, I wanted three things if we bought another house on Vashon. One, it had to be on the beach... check. Two, it had to face south to have sun all day... check. Three, it had to have a view of Mount Rainier, it signifies the NW to me... check. This property is stunning-- it makes me feel healthy and happy... and I feel it every time I drive up to it.
What makes this property unique
Kids love it... it has a light house, not a real light house but apparently the original owner was a fan of the architecture... or he was a kid himself, it is my kids favorite part of the house, but a warning you have to take two ladders to get to the top.
