Our second visit to number 4. Super bijou! Great beach vibe on your doorstep. Much quieter than during the school holidays which was a bonus! Excellent throughout! Loved watching the rabbits and the bird life!

From booking to actual stay it has been amazing! We came for a Hen Do and were not disappointed. 5 stars and even the beautiful photos don't do this house justice, it is stunning! All the girls had a fab time and with ubers and abbey wood station just down the road you can get into central London in 40 minutes. Petra is a superhost. Always replying quickly and no question was too much to ask. I truly hope we have the opportunity to come back and stay for even longer!

We were pleasantly surprised. Everything was as stated: clean and comfortable, and we would gladly stay there again.

Three generations met for a suprise 70h birthday. Chevalier Estate is ideal for this as each family group had their own space but we could get together in the magnificent Dragon Hall. The accomodations are exceptionally well thought out and equipped. "Less IKEA more Sophie Conran" as one daughter observed. The fittings, linens, rugs etc are all very high end and all the properties are spacious with lovely sitting areas and kitchens. The booking process and all communications with Lady Laura were easy and she was extremely accommodating. We had in house catering for most meals, which were delicious and plentiful and certainly much more fun, relaxing and convenient than going out. We were able to have a great dinner in splendid surroundings with our own wine and games afterwards. A great time was had by all. All the staff we met were welcoming and really went out of their way to make sure we had a good time.we hope to he back!

What a beautiful location and apartment/villa is nicely dont too. Only thing is, you have to climb 38steps- think for an elderly person. Mind you, after that view from the terrece tou do forget about 38 steps. Overall fantastic stay... 100% recommend it.

The property was amazing and the location superb. It was so tranquil with the views of the water and all the wildlife. All the facilities in the house were top quality. Accommodation easily was great for 10. House was clean although some bits of toys were found under and in the sofas of the lounge. Also felt the verandas/decks could have been better swept clean. So no real complaints, just the odd niggle. Parking for such a property was limited at the actual property but was available within a reasonable distance. Onsite Ballihoo restaurant was ok as were indoor and outdoor pools.

We are fortunate to have discovered “The Orangery” along with hosts Emma and Andrew. The accommodation is of the highest standard, extremely spacious and with facilities and finished to the finest of specifications. Everything that could possibly be required for a fabulous stay has been included. The personal welcoming touches left by our hosts were an unexpected treat. A peaceful and relaxing location, whilst being close to all the local attractions, beaches and Dorchester town centre. The local and highly regarded pub, “The Black Dog,” is within easy walking distance as are the other village amenities. In summary, a fantastic holiday home in a great location. It is highly recommended.
