The pictures don't do this guest room justice. It is darling--very tastefully done. I was greeted by Kate and Adam--perfect host/hostesses! Everything was ready for me. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable and it was in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, a half mile from the campus. As described, it is quite small--only a bedroom with a small bathroom, but the courtyard offers a most pleasant alternative to a sitting room. The guest room was perfect for me. I was busy during the day and only needed a place to sleep and shower. The fact that I could do that in such a delightful setting left me feeling quite pampered. The owner does not live on site but was very responsive and accommodating in making the reservation and following up. The young couple that live in the main house took care of my every need and question. They were fabulous! They even found a nearby coffee shop that would be open for my very needed 6 am latte! I would definitely stay here again should I return to Corvallis and I'd plan my time so that I had time to sit out in the courtyard with a book and glass of wine at the end of the day (and maybe my latte in the morning!) I would highly recommend this property to anyone who was looking for a clean and comfortable room to spend the night (or nights).Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.
