OR, just enjoy the majestic views of Mt. Rainier, framed against the waters of Puget Sound and the north end of Harstine Island, from the home's wonderful wraparound wood deck and gazebo.

The pictures really don't do this place justice (although they are good pictures), but they can't capture how roomy yet cozy this lovely cabin feels from the moment you walk in the door! Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, breathtaking views (Mt. Rainier and Harstine Island), and anything else you might need! We didn't want to leave and will definitely return!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I stayed here with my of my best friends for a spur of the moment getaway recently and I know we both loved it here! It's one of those places that, if you stay 3 days, you think one more is needed. But I believe it is such a wonderful place even if you keep adding days, there are never enough...this place is a treasure! The property is very well maintained, clean and everything needed is here. Mike and Joanne were very hospitiable and welcoming to us. They have created a vacation home that is beautifully decorated with many modern conveniences while maintaining the 50's feel -- right down to the dishes! This is a perfect place to get away and truly "unplug", no cable, no internet...you can truly unwind, sleep peacefully and enjoy the beauty of nature with an amazing view of the water, trees and Mt Rainier. I can't wait to come back!
