Why the Owner Chose Lake Havasu City
Sherry and I researched Lake Havasu City for a long time before we went there. Our biggest concern was that the pictures looked so beautiful that we may be dissapointed when we see it for ourselves. Much to our amazement, it was even nicer in person than it was on the internet. The Lake is fantastic and the beautiful red rock makes for great boating and fishing. With the intense heat of the summer months, we knew we would need to have a swimming pool at our house. There are many days we simply sit around the pool and spa and enjoy the great mountain views and water games that our home has to offer.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We are centrally located to whithin only a few minutes to the downtown shopping area and about 7 minutes to the London Bridge and beach area. Directly behind our home is a new park with horseshoes, basketball, slides, and a Bar B Q area with tables and washrooms. We take pride in the luscious landscaping and fantastic interior features of the home, along with the monthly pest control to have peacefull evening dinners.

My wife and I grew up in Alberta, Canada and we enjoyed all the summer and winter activities that a northern climate has to offer. The winter weekends were filled with snowmobiling and skiing in the rocky mountains, and in the summer you would find us camping at a lake enjoying boating, fishing and roasting marshmallows at an evening campfire. I had an opportunity to move to Phoenix Arizona in 1984 and since I had a sister that was nursing there at the time, I decided to make the move. I instantly fell in love with the warm climate and desert architecture, which is very different from where I was raised. Sherry came and visited a few times and she loved it as much as I did. We had some business opportunities back in Canada, so in 1988 I returned to Alberta where we were married later that year. Sherry and I along with our son Sean have traveled to Hawaii and Mexico as well as Phoenix to hopefully find a place that we would like to spend more leisure time. There are plenty of beautiful places but nothing that we felt was exactly what we were looking for. A friend told me about Lake Havasu and we started researching it on the internet. We came down for a few vacations and quickly discovered that Lake Havasu has all the features that we were looking for in a vacation spot and second home. We hope that you will come and enjoy our home as much as we do.

We stayed July 4th weekend and what a great house! Every part of the house was immaculate, the beds were very comfortable, the pictures do not do this home justice! As great as the house was, the owner was even better, he is very pleasant to deal with and very accommodating. I won't stay anywhere else again, already making plans to come back to Havasu and stay here!

All I can say is THANKS !!!! Wonderful! We felt at home immediately in this beautiful vacation home. This home was perfectly equipped - had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Lake Havasu. This home was an excellent vacation rental. The listing is accurate, but doesn't do it justice. The place is is much more beautiful than it show in the pictures. The property was clean and well maintained. The family really enjoyed the swimming pool. The owner was easy to get a hold of and answered all our questions and concerns quickly. The stores and the lake were very close by. I would recommend this property for a group or a family.

Thank you Perry & Sherry for allowing us to share your home. We stayed whilst taking part in the Jet Ski World Finals in Oct 2010 and the house, pool and venue was perfect. We have been to Lake Havasu several times before but this was the first time in Perry & Sherry's home (The first of many we hope). Everything was as described - it was spotlessly clean and very welcoming and homely. The house had everything we needed and more. The pool area was spotless, the pool was very well maintained and the area very private. We loved everything about the house and look forward to staying again this year. The hospitality of the Perry & Sherry was amazing and when my husband had an accident on the day we were due to leave the property Perry & Sherry very kindly offered for us to stay on in their home until my husband was well enough to leave - now thats what you call service! We would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a lovely clean home and who will treat it with the the respect it deserves. Have a great time - we did. Thank you again Perry and Sherry for sharing your home with us.

Green Pool and Scummy Spa

I stayed in this lovely home in Lake Havasu with 8 other people all adults and no children. The property was very neat looking and the rooms were nicely decorated. There were several things that need to be addressed. For one thing the pool was green and the spa had a scummy film on top of it. Sense I take care of my pool at the Park I manage I was going to go ahead and clean it, but couldn't find a brush so I didn't clean it. Besides we really didn't spend much time in the house because we were out on the boat all day. There were 9 people and 6 towels, 1 roll of toilet paper and no dish washing soap, and no trash bags. There were instructions on how to leave the house when our stay was completed, but had nothing to clean with so we went to the store the purchased what was needed. We washed the towels, dishes, took the trash out to the curve and left paper in the house. The house looked better then when we arrived. I think the owners need to look at there cleaning staff and see what they are really doing, because they are not doing them justice. We have rented other homes in Lake Havasu before and have never seen such a thing.
Owner response:We are extremely fortunate to have a very experienced and helpful cleaning staff, as well as our pool maintenance people. The cleaning staff have been taking care of our home for over eight years, so they know the house inside and out very well. They ensure everything is ready for each guests arrival including all body towels, hand towels and face cloths however there is not enough room on the towel racks for all the towels so the remainder are in nearby closets. In the unlikely event that some of the cleaning supplies or toiletries are not set out in clear sight, we have a closet by the garage door which is stocked for your use at any time. The pool people come to the home twice a week which is very uncommon, usually pools only get serviced once a week. We have a full pool cleaning service kit in one of the closets in the garage but we don’t like to leave the items out in the yard. The pool is cleaned a day prior to a guests arrival and again when the guest has left so that all chemicals can be properly monitored for each visitor. We do ask that when the pool cleaners are there that they have total access to the pool and spa in order to do their jobs properly. We encourage people to contact us immediately if there is ever anything that needs attention and we will take care of it promptly. Sherry and I are very confident that you will be totally happy with your stay at our home. And like many regular visitors we have, you can’t wait to come stay with us again.
