This is the best holiday home we have ever stayed in. Lots of thoughtful touches, luxurious fittings and very comfortable and well equipped. The house is in the prettiest part of the Cape and yet within easy reach of everywhere. We felt very welcomed -fresh flowers, fruit and a bottle of wine! Thank you. I stayed at the compound at Sea Meadow June 25 - 28, 2010. I can only describe it with one word - perfect. The house was very clean, all amenities were upscale...nothing was left to chance. I can say with confidence that if you rent this property you will not be disappointed. We had so much fun during our visit that we didn't want to leave. The only time that we left the property during our three day stay was to walk to the Lemon Tree shops. Thanks Jay for being such a great host!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this lovely property on the Cape. The pictures don't begin to capture how beautiful this home is inside and out. The attention to detail was an unexpected surprise! We hosted our son's college graduation dinner(delivered clambake from Bayside Seafood in Brewster) at this lovely home and the evening surpassed every expectation. I had brought all of my own dinnerware not expecting to find that everything that I may have needed was already there and then some. The home provided everything we needed to create a lifelong memory for our family from the glorious pool to the amazing gardens, hot tub and exceptionally appointed living spaces, not to mention the showers...Our two son's could not stop talking about the great showers in both of the upscale bathrooms!!! We will definitely be back. We have rented many times through Home Away and this rental is at the top of our list!!! Thanks Jay you have created a true Shangri-La on the Cape and we thank you for sharing it with our family.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thanks so much Trish and Kevin! It is my pleasure to share my home and all the joy its brought me over my years on Cape Cod. Hope to see you back soon! Jay

I stayed at this beautiful Brewster home from June 27, 2009 to July 4, 2009. We stayed here with another couple who had a baby. I was pregnant at the time and this house was so comfortable, from the heated pool to the jacuzzi bath tub. Everything was all laid out for us to enjoy a great week. The house was emaculate and the technology that thios haoue has blew me away. Every house we ever rented on the cape was never this updated and modern. the pictures really do not do this house justice.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

The pictures do not do it justice. We were renting some equipment from a local rental agency and the woman called me and said "Have you seen the house yet? Its SPECTACULAR. You are going to have an amazing vacation!" She was right. We were stunned when we arrived and saw what a beautiful home and property it was. The attention to detail is wonderful, and the owner provides everything you need for a lovely vacation on The Cape. The grounds are expansive with absolutely beautiful gardens. As you walk out to the pool, there is an abundant stack of towels to be used on the comfortable lounges, or to be worn as you walk around the side of the house to use the fabulous outdoor shower or the jacuzzi. He also invited us to pick our own herbs out of the garden, which we did when we cooked up our fresh fish from the incredible Breakwater Fish Market, which is just down the road. The master bathroom was a delight with its relaxing whirlpool tub, amazingly therapeutic steam shower and fluffy, soft towels. The bed linens are magnificent and made us feel right at home. I've rented many homes for our vacations, and we really appreciated all of the attention the owner has paid to making this home as convenient as possible for the renter. There is no guessing about how anything works, he has left easy instructions for everything (from the tv to the pool cover to the sound system). It was a truly relaxing experience. He is also very attentive if you were to have any questions, making himself available via both cell phone and email. The location is great as you can walk to many shops and especially for ice cream at Kate's, a wonderful Cape Cod tradition. Brewster is also a perfect location as it is an easy drive all the way up to Provincetown or Wellfleet one morning, or all the way down to Falmouth or Hyannis another. Getting to Chatham was also easy, as you can avoid all of the traffic on Route 28. We enjoyed the convenience of its location so that we could visit the different beaches and harbors, but we also spent time enjoying the quiet, peaceful evenings outside in the garden. We had friends over for dinner and they were amazed at what a lovely home we had rented. We ended up having dinner at the house several nights over the course of our vacation because our friends loved it so very much. I cannot recommend this house or its owner highly enough. My only regret was that I didn't rent it for a longer period of time!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
