Darling renovated historic cottage with all the modern convienences. Even a washer and dryer in the cellar! Lovely landscaping in a quiet private yard. Plenty of off street parking for several cars. Great host and easy communication,Loved every minute!

Everything was AMAZING. It is 100% an old house with all that an old house means, BUT OUR STAY WAS WONDERFUL. We had everything we needed and *then some* stocked, and the outdoor space was so incredibly peaceful. Plus, when we realized the hot water had gone out, Jane was over in 10 minutes at 9pm despite the fact it wasn't even an urgent issue until the next morning. Cannot wait to stay here again!

This house is full of character and has been loved and restored. It is in a good location for seeing Cape Cod and going for walks on the beaches.Our host was lovely and responded to questions quickly.

We had 6-8" of snow during our stay and this 200 year old structure stayed warm and comfortable. Just remember to duck, people used to be shorter.

Yes very nice antique saltbox. Jane is a great host. It was within walking distance to the Stony Brook Grist Mill. It was close to Chatham Squire where we enjoyed lunch and dinner two days in a row. The beds were very comfortable. Would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Cozy house with lots of charm! Great yard to sit and relax in! Quick ride to everywhere. The house was spotless. VERY well equipped kitchen. General supplies available and there was even tissues!

The Perfect Spot

The adorable and lovingly restored Elisha Howland saltbox is the perfect place to stay on Cape Cod. So historic and homey! Easy to get anywhere you want to sightsee. Just can’t say how much I enjoyed this stay!

Short stay after graduation in Boston

Saltbox house is charming and remarkably spacious. Beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. Gardens are gorgeous. Host left good recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. We enjoyed reading about the restoration of the house. We wished we could’ve had a longer stay and would love to return sometime in the future.

Remodeled & updated but still has that rustic feel

We had an amazing time at the cape. The Sept weather was awesome. We used this as base camp to enjoy the beaches,hiking and Kayaking. The information book with restaurant recommendations was spot on. This little home was perfect for the two of us. We will definitely stay again!
