ABOUT THE PROPERTY
Dreamland is far more than just a place to stay. It's a special place; you'll know it the instant you pull into the driveway.

Check the calendar below and make plans to run to the mountains for a couple of days. You'll be refreshed, renewed, rejuvenated and ready to return to your regularly scheduled activities. People LOVE the beds here - some have said it's the best sleep they've had in years. We also now boast delicious water that has no sulfur thanks to a brand new water system we just installed in June 2013. The hot tub is also in good working order.

Read what others say about Dreamland:
'In addition to the beautiful cabin & location... it really speaks volumes to see how much you and your family care for them. There is something about being part of the Country Ridge community that calls to me- I can't explain it!

' Dreamland made you do just that - dream of quiet and wonderful times together.'

' Thanks for making our anniversary the best one yet!'

' We didn't want to leave. We have already decided this is THE place for us when we come back in the fall.'

' Everything was so clean.'

' We loved the upstairs balcony. We were in our own deluxe treehouse. '

_________________________________________________________________
Tucked tightly into the mountain, DREAMLAND's upper and lower balconies spill out into the trees and offer some of the best tools for dreaming up just about anything: a bubbling hot tub, rockers, a hanging swing, and private views of the surrounding hills and wooded mountains.
__________________________________________________________________
IN THE RIGHT SETTING, YOU CAN JUST ABOUT FORGET ALL OF YOUR WORRIES

DREAMLAND is one of three exclusive cabins in the Country Ridge Cabin Community - each nestled in its own nook on a private mountain 1200 feet in elevation. Just seven to eight miles from Sevierville or Pigeon Forge, this mountain retreat provides everything you need to slow down. We believe that the hurried pace you are accustomed to should be rewarded with a place to retreat for optimum peace. Here, you'll find many places to slow down.

The deep porches are made for rocking, the hot tubs know all about tired muscles, the balcony swing make a book read better, and steak from the grill just tastes better up here. Country Ridge began with the mountains - mountains noted for their lazy blue smoke and wilderness sanctuary. That's why afternoon naps come naturally here. The day is all yours.

DOING NOTHING IS A LEGITIMATE ACTIVITY

There's so much to do here. Explore the mountain and picnic on Country Ridge's six private acres, photograph nature, or pitch horseshoes with your family and friends. Famous mountain activities surround you in every direction. Nearby, you will find fishing, hiking, horseback riding, golfing, boating, wildlife viewing, theater, and a million and one other things. There's no end to the opportunities that await you, although we believe that the best thing to do at DREAMLAND is NOTHING at all.

TAKE THE BACK ROADS

Stray off the Parkway. The untold beauty of the Smokies is on her back roads. Surprise beckons around every bend in the locally traveled scenic side streets. Pull over for cider and a bag of boiled peanuts. Stop at the river and look for trout. Hop out and see where that nature trail leads. Be curious.

After all, you are on vacation. Is there really anywhere that you HAVE to be? It was on these beautiful back roads that we found the perfect mountain for Country Ridge and DREAMLAND – your home in the Smokies. It’s an experience, not just a place to stay. Slow down. Savor your life.

UT VOLS FANS: What could be better than attending the (winning!) game in Knoxville and returning to your mountain hideout in the Smokies? We are approximately 30 minutes from the stadium with easy access via Chapman Highway. Go VOLS!

To help with planning - Bedroom layouts are:
Downstairs Bedroom: King Bedroom with adjoining hallway bathroom
Upstairs Bedroom: King Bedroom with attached bathroom and private balcony with swing
Family Room Bed: Queen Sofa Sleeper by the fireplace with adjoining hallway bathroom

** Tips So You Do Not Miss Out On Your Bookings
Disclaimer: I speak to MANY people who I email several times back and forth answering questions ensuring that the property is right fit for the guest and right for me as the owner. Of course I try to be fair as I can - which is first come first serve to include payment.

You, just like several other potential guests are searching online for your vacation destination that is perfect for you. On ‘MANY’ occasions I am quoting 2-3 potential guest at the SAME Time for the SAME Dates as your request. I typically will not disclose that information to you because I don't want to come off as pushy. Plus I feel like many owner/management companies may say this to force you to book quickly.

So if you feel that the property is right for you can select ‘BOOK IT’ on the top right of the screen the I will ACCEPT RESERVATION. Or after we have worked out the details of dates and price through the ‘QUOTE’ and you decide my unit is “the one” you cannot live without, I suggest you select the ‘REQUEST BOOKING’. This lets me know that you are ready to purchase. I then can send you a ‘BOOK IT’ request. I will ‘NEVER’ book the your reservation out from under you on purpose. I try to avoid any miscommunication issues but sometimes they occur. To avoid this - I recommend You say “I WANT THIS UNIT” and I will send you an invoice with a time limit for the awaiting payment. If someone else also wants the unit and is ready to pay I will call/email YOU allowing YOU “first right of refusal” also with a time limit (real short).

At any time through the inquiry and email process YOUR Options are: 1. “BOOK IT” from Top Right of Home Page or 2. From my email to you with 'QUOTE' attached select - “REQUEST BOOKING” which triggers me to send you a “BOOK IT” request.

Our first visit to the Smoky Mountains was dreamy, thanks to Dreamland! This is a small, tidy, well-appointed cabin in a lovely, natural setting. Once we made it up the very steep driveway to the cabin, it was an AWESOME trip!! There were 5 of us (2 adults and 3 children) and we had plenty of room. After a long winter 2013-2014, we were thrilled with great weather and such a nice place. Jason worked with us beautifully and answered all of our questions. The cabin had everything we could have wanted, including a binder with directions to great attractions in the area. We went into Gatlinburg 3 times and spent some time in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We did Cade's Cove and Clingman's Dome and they were both MAGNIFICENT. I highly recommend this cabin and this area! Thank you, thank you! (The only, very minor, issue was the BEES. They were everywhere, but they were not aggressive. If you ignore them, they ignore you. My kids were scared of them at first, but they got used to them and we hardly noticed them by the end of the stay.)

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Owner response: Thanks Melissa for the great comments. Here at Dreamland we are always making improvements. I’m glad the Guest Binder was an added benefit, I actually updated the binder after your departure with new updated info. So if you’re an upcoming ‘new guest”, you are in for a treat. It provides a lot of value. The guest that is currently staying, mid April 2014, actually called me about the bees and I had them treated. Who would have thought that all those were male bee’s swarming are trying to find the eggs in the wood. The $250 treatment also included a bee history lesson from the bee keeper … LOL!!!! Some people love to talk. Like Melissa said, the carpenter male bees are not aggressive. I also replaced the gas grill too! You never know what you are going to find at The Great Smokey Mtn’s .. it truly is a wonderful place, especially at Dreamland. Thanks for the great comments…. Come stay at Dreamland. I am ALL digital, so my replies come with-in minutes. My rates are perfect. Customer service is my business. Dreamland is proud to be in the TOP 5 LISTINGS out of over 1000 listings in the area. You can even book online without even speaking or emailing me. I truly hope you have your as a guest at Dreamland. ….. Thanks again Melissa. Jason, owner

the cabin was nice and very clean, it was perfect for just two of us think four to six is max. We read a lot and even grilled out one night. Very quiet as no one rented places around us during this time. Just far enough from all the activity but close enough to go and enjoy. Lots to do in the area.

We rented Dreamland for 5 nights! It was an absolute perfect birthday/anniversary vacation!! The hot tub, the fireplace, the 2 decks, the washer dryer, the kitchen...everything about the cabin, we LOVED! We did leave the cabin 1 night early, only because Pigeon Forge was expecting 5-7 inches of snow, and we were fearful of losing power and being there with no heat or lights. There are 2 other cabins up there with Dreamland, but no one had those rented, so we had the entire area to ourselves. The location of Dreamland is perfect! Kroger in Pigeon Forge is like 4 miles away, but you are away from the hustle and bustle of the Parkway. The driveway to Dreamland is a little steep and a little curvy, but once you get to the cabin, it's breathtaking! We plan to (try, if it isn't booked up) rent all 3 cabins up there when the weather warms up, and have our friends and family up there with us. There's horse shoe pits, and that could be some good fun this summer! Thank you so much to Jason for renting your cabin to us! You were so easy to work with and so accommodating to us in renting this cabin! My family and I Thank you for your Service and wish you and your family a very Blessed and Bright future!!!

We were searching for a cabin that would be close to Gatlinburg for Snowboarding, Pigeon Forge for Dollywood, and Sevierville for shopping. This is the one! It is difficult to know where you are going to end up when renting places on the internet. We are not familiar with the area other than a stay at another, much more expensive cabin 10 years ago. This cabin fit all of our needs at a great price! We had a great time at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, spent hours at the Nascar go-carts and Tanger outlets in Sevierville, and walked beautiful Gatlinburg. All in a 3 night stay! The cabin has beautiful views from all the decks, and the Hot tub allows great relaxation while viewing the mountains. We even brought food back to the cabin one night and had a great meal with the fireplace going, a great evening. We had two couples and two children, (are 18 and 20 still children?) and no one was cramped. There is plenty of closet/storage space for bags and gear. Ceiling fans, central heat/air, fireplace, TV, WIFI, cable, coffee maker, dishwasher, it even has a washer and dryer if you stay for longer. Prior to our stay we contacted the owner with questions about the area and he was easy to deal with and very helpful. The instructions we received had great directions to the cabin and helpful directions to the local attractions. This was a great winter stay (even had a little snow!) and we can't wait to stay here in warmer weather and check out the kayaking in the area, (and a couple more hours at the Nascar go-carts!!)

We stayed here right before Thanksgiving. The cabin was clean, and very spacious. All water tasted great, I made tea and root beer with it. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub, it was nice to have after a day of hiking to a nearby waterfall. The beds were comfortable, and plenty of linens to keep warm. The full size washer and dryer was nice to have also. We especially liked the huge glass windows to see our first snowfall the morning before Thanksgiving! We made little snowmen! The kids were SO excited! The WIFI worked fine, we were able to get on our laptops. The gas fireplace was nice also. And we enjoyed using the binder they supplied with nearby destinations and directions, it came in handy to get to Cade's Cove. We also hiked to Laurel Falls in the National Park which I would recommend bc it's only 2.6 miles round trip, the hike was fairly easy. The waterfall was beautiful and we were able to do it with our two kids. It's a must see! It is about 15 min or so to the National Park from the cabin. We liked that the cabin was at the top of the mountain, a little steep but not a problem like the other reviews said. They set out bags of salt alongside the road all the way up to the cabin, and the roads were cleared every morning. The owner Jason was very nice to work with and prompt at returning my emails. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone especially with kids. The beautiful mountain top experience is worth it!
