This spacious 3000 square feet shore retreat is two short blocks to the beach. Ideally located for walking just about anywhere-to the ocean, to restaurants and and to the train or bus line. You can relax by barbecuing and sipping cool drinks with family and friends on the wrap around porch after soaking up the sun on the beach all day. The ocean breezes are refreshing. The house is located on a corner and there are views of the boardwalk to the east and views of the Lake Basin to the south. It is an especially great area for resting and reducing stress from a long, work week.

The house is a single family Colonial with a large living room, dining room, eat in kitchen, laundry room and bathroom on the first floor. On the second floor there are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There are three twin beds, two queen and one king for your comfort. There is even a sofa bed and futon in the living room area for an overnight guest. All cooking utensils (dishes, glasses, pots/pans, etc.) are provided. Utilities (hot water, gas and electric), family cable, and internet service are provided.

South Bradley Beach is a quiet neighborhood. Many of the residents use their homes to relax on the weekends. It is even less populated during the winter months providing a haven for rest and relaxation. Atlantic City is one and a half hours by car to the South and New York City is a little more than one hour to the North. Shopping and restaurants are abundant in the area. Six Flags Amusement Area is 30 minutes away by car. Walking, cycling, and jogging are popular activities among vacationers.

  • So much more than we bargained for! To attend my brother's wedding in nearby Ocean Grove, my husband and I were charged with taking care of my elderly mom, who was also bringing an old family friend, so we felt a house would provide for their needs far better than a hotel or B&B. This house was absolutely perfect! Home is HUGE, 3000 square feet, with 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, so we had my sister and her husband stay with us as well--along with several other wedding guests who we convinced to spend the night rather than drive home after the reception. In fact, the reception ended early--and having to vacate the hall at 7pm, many guests had not seen each other in years, so we invited them back to our rental house, where we were able to seat and entertain a good 30+ people in comfort and style! This house is well equipped for entertaining, from stacking chairs (a good extra 20)to all kinds of card and board games! There is a sectional sofa, a pull-out sofa and a futon. Large dining room with table that seats 8-10 and 2nd table in expansive kitchen that is larger than most livingrooms, fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, dishes, pots, pans, and every imaginable accessory! Impressive entrance with wrap-around porch, flanked by 2 stone lions. 1/2 bath downstairs, great for guests, and 2 full bathrooms upstairs--one is a "walk through" adjoining 2 of the bedrooms. The bedrooms are huge--one with a king-sized bed, 1 with a queen, overlooking the ocean, and the other 2 bedrooms each have not only a queen bed, but an extra twin bed as well. Beautiful, well-lit laundry room on first floor with large capacity washer and dryer. Cable TV is provided with about 60 different channels, along with VCR and DVD players--there are even some movies! Home is equipped with tons of extra towels and bedding, vaccum, mops, and all the cleaning supplies you could possibly want. Upstairs furniture and carpeting is a little dated, but nice and very appropriate for home. So nice, that in the week we stayed there after the the wedding, several of the guests returned to spend a few days with us. This house actually cost much less than having to rent several hotel rooms, and we got so much more! Highly recommended!
