Set in the mountainside, this quaint log cabin is much larger than it looks at first glace. With large decks both upstairs and down for outdoor living, the scenic mountain overlook has a view of seven different mountain ranges.
Claw foot tub in master bath, takes you back to another era, and the stone fireplace and hearth add an ambience that you don't get these days in new cabin construction.
Enjoy cooking on our fully restored 1937 gas stove and oven or grilling out on the ample outdoor grill. Serving on the outside porch with spectacular sunsets is always a pleasure.Short 20 minutes to Wolf Laurel Ski Resort, just 30 minutes outside of Asheville, enjoy rafting, hiking or just laying back with your favorite beverage and a bunch of movies for a relazing weekend or week away from the hustle.

.. I had been encouraged to stay at this home for sometime. After having spent a weekend there I wish I had taken the advise sooner. This home has such a warm and comfortable feeling while providing breathtaking views of snow covered mountains. It was well stocked with all the goods and amenities that anyone could want. The close proximity to Asheville allowed us to make day trips to town and enjoy the beauty and cultural experience that Asheville has to offer. I would recommend a stay here to anyone that want comfort, privacy and spectacular views..Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I was fortunate to experiance a true Mountain "Thanksgiving" with my family at this beautiful retreat! We were able to have quality family time with all of us together. It was a blessing to have had this experiance with not only my children, but with my Mother, Father, Sister and her family. This Mountain home is beautifully decorated and has all the comforts of home. I will always treasure the memory and knowledge that this was where my Father was able to teach his Grandchildren to be able to sit and enjoy looking at the stars in the sky!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway.
