The charm of yesteryear remains and we have added all the luxury amenities of modern living. We are immediately across from the Historic Charleston City Market dating back to 1804. Our location is second to none...you can park your car and never get back in it if shopping on King Street, dining in first class restaurants, and discovering Revolutionary and Civil War history is your goal. You are sure to find pleasure in visiting one of America's oldest museums, touring the Charleston Harbor by boat or visiting the famous Ft. Sumter, strolling through the historical neighborhoods and sneaking views of private Charleston courtyard gardens. King Street, known for designer shopping and antiquing and is only one block away. Parking is available for a reduced rate of $12 per nt in the secure Cumberland parking garage located one block from suite. About the owner: While visiting the area 1998 we fell in love with the charm of the historical city and surroundings, the Southern hospitality and relaxed lifestyle. We moved to Charleston in 1999. The same year we opened One of a Kind, a gallery that features art and fine crafts from nationally acclaimed artists as well as art by regional and local artisans. The gallery is located on the same street just a few doors down from the suite.
