This beautiful two-story, almost 1800 sf home is situated on a private easement and offers picturesque views of Lake Gregory and the San Bernardino Mountains. With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a huge deck with a breathtaking lake view, Pinecone Lodge is perfect for a large group or extended families. Enjoy total privacy and comfort in our home away from home!
This cabin boasts original wood paneling throughout and a true sense of being in the mountains. Enjoy a movie from the DVD library while a fire crackles away in the fireplace, or lounge on the leather sectional with a good book. Leave your worries at home as Pinecone Lodge includes all the linens, blankets, towels, cooking essentials, table settings, glassware, appliances, games, and opportunities for relaxation that you could ever ask for! Enjoy free local and continental-US calling and WiFi during your stay.
The first level includes a cozy living room situated around a flat screen TV and a wood-burning fireplace. Want to play a rousing game of Monopoly or Twister? Maybe have a friendly poker game? You'll find everything you need to entertain adults and children alike in the well-stocked entertainment center. Also on the first level is the game room which includes a wet bar and Foosball table with a comfortable chaise to relax on. You will also find two bedrooms, one bathroom, laundry room and closet with extra linens on the first floor. Bedroom one has adult-sized twin bunk beds as well as a leather grain futon that opens up to a full size bed. Bedroom two has a comfortable queen size bed.
The second level is an entertainer's dream with a large, open floor plan that leads to the expansive deck with a view of gorgeous Lake Gregory. This level includes two bedrooms with faulted ceilings and one bathroom. Bedroom 3 has a queen size bed. Bedroom 4 has adult-sized twin bunk beds and a single twin bed. Enjoy a calming bath or an invigorating shower under the rainhead showerhead. You will find a comfortable living room with faulted wood-beam ceilings and a leather sectional couch complete with chaise for putting your feet up and relaxing by the wood-burning fireplace. The couch opens to a memory foam queen size bed. We also have a portable crib and highchair available for your use. Enjoy your favorite show or choose a movie from the DVD library to watch on the 46” LED HDTV flat screen TV. The kitchen includes everything you will need to enjoy your entire stay or entertain guests! Should you choose to eat out, we have provided a few great tips on where to go in the Welcome Binder. Included in the country kitchen are double ovens, microwave, dishwasher, portable kitchen island, programmable coffee maker, Cuisinart blender, and all the other appliances you will need during your stay. We have also included a coordinated array of serving-ware, bakeware, table settings for 12, glassware, basic spices and a variety of kitchen essentials that will please all cooks! Enjoy a glass of wine while you cook anything your heart desires. Enjoy your meals at the antique table while enjoying lake and mountain views! The open-floor plan leads to the large deck complete with teak dining set and a propane grill. Enjoy your meal in the lap of nature while you enjoy the fresh air and even better view. For your convenience, Pinecone Lodge also provides weekly trash pick up.
Crestline is considered the gateway to the camping and recreation activities of the San Bernardino National Forest, because it is the closest mountain resort town to the cities. It has all the amenities you could want during your vacation, but truly has a “small town” feel. In the winter, visitors to Crestline can enjoy cool temperatures and a few days of snowfall. In the summer, many visitors from all over Southern California come to Lake Gregory to swim, boat, fish and get away from the blazing heat. Every season has something to offer visitors.
There are many events throughout the year. On Memorial Day, we celebrate the opening of Lake Gregory's swimming area, which stays open through Labor Day. Memorial Day and Labor Day are also popular with visitors who come to browse scores of yard sales throughout the town--a tradition for many years in Crestline. During July 4th, the town comes alive for Jamboree Days, which draws tens of thousands for the town parade, gift and food vendors, an old-fashioned family event at the lake, and fireworks at night. You have a front row seat to the amazing fireworks show from the deck of Pinecone Lodge.
During the holiday season, the storefronts in downtown Crestline are adorned with decorations and a huge Christmas tree is lit near Lake Gregory. The tree is illuminated every evening and can be seen from the deck of Pinecone Lodge. Lake Arrowhead is only a short 10 minute drive away. The local market, bookstores, coffee shops, antique shops, restaurants, skate park, playground and more are all a 5 minute walk from Pinecone Lodge.
