This two story, two bedroom, two and a half bath townhouse is situated on the beach side of Highway 98 on a beautiful five-acre fresh water lake and just a two minute walk through the development to the sugar-white beach Destin is so famous for. Two huge balconies catch the sun and the Gulf breezes, and the large living area on the second floor is perfect for families or just a romantic weekend for two.
Our ideal location gives you quiet, relaxing beach time, but is just minutes from a water park and amusement park for the kids. If you're looking for a little excitement in the evening, we're close to dozens of fantastic restaurants and night clubs.
Southbay's amenities include two swimming pools(one heated), two lighted tennis courts, reserved parking for each unit, a freshwater lake for fishing from your deck or gazebo and 300 feet of private beach.

We continued the tradition, but instead of building castles in the sand, we sat on the beach and daydreamed about someday having a place of our own in Destin. That dream came true in 2005 when we bought our first condo at Southbay by the Gulf, affectionately known as the "Dream Chaser". We love the beach and enjoy fishing, so we found the perfect getaway overlooking a beautiful 5-acre lake and just a short stroll to the beach through Southbay's tropical foliage. This is our piece of paradise and we enjoy it so much. We hope you will allow us to share it with you, your family and friends!
