  Just wanted to send a quick note to let you know we enjoyed our stay at your condo very much. What a wonderful place you have. The pictures are accurate (even the red headed finch showed up each day); the bed was comfortable; the shower worked well. The view really is something. I loved having breakfast on the lanai in the morning and still being able to see the ocean. And we went down to the great lawn pretty much every evening and watched the sunset from there. How convenient the gas BBQ grills were, though Keoki's restaurant (excellent atmosphere/food) across the street reeled us in more than home cooking. The condo was very well kept. Thank you for that. All the extra amenities: beach chairs, hairdryer, boogie boards, umbrella, etc were helpful as well. We had a wonderful time in Kauai and loved having your condo to come back to at the end of the day. One note for extremely light sleepers: the windows are not soundproof - more like shutters, and the birds do start chirping around 6-7am in the morning, but it really wasn't a big deal for us. We would wake up, then fall promptly back to sleep for a bit longer. Neighbor noises weren't an issue at all - never heard anyone else.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  The sounds of the ocean's rolling waves provided a gentle tiffany while the morning sun artistically worked its way through the clouds and inspired life. The warm tropical breeze perfumed with plumeria filled our senses while birds with songs unique to the island completed our awakening as we euphorically enjoyed a cup of rich Hawaiian coffee on the lanai which quickly became a ritual for us. We were in paradise. The grounds at the plantation were beautiful and well maintained. It looked, felt and smelled like Hawaii. The staff was helpful and all of the guests we met were happy. The beach was beautiful and an easy 2 minute walk over the softest grass my feet ever felt. The beach was great for swimming and snorkeling and it was never crowded. It is a perfect place to take a sunrise stroll and to consume the sunset. The plantation is centrally located, not that that matters as the Island isn't that big. We did all of the tourist stuff and talked to the very friendly locals about some off the path locations. We took an open door'd helicopter tour on our first day on the island to get orientated, and then we took our rental car to find the interesting spots we spotted from the air. It was a great trip and we will go back. The owners of the condo, Bill and Carroll are great people and were very accommodating with their time and the information that they provided. The have been going to the island for many years and can provide solid information for any interest. They keep their condo in perfect condition. The condo is very comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy a week or more. Just stop by Costco on your way from the airport and you will never have to leave the comfort and beauty of the condo. In my opinion, the best part of the condo is this: We visited so may beautiful places on the island and consumed the essence of Hawaii, when our days were ending, we were actually excited about going back to the condo as it is a continuation of the islands natural beauty and décor. It doesn't feel like a condo, it feels like Hawaii. We ended most days back on the lanai with an ice cold Corona and toasted the day as the sun slipped back into the ocean.

  ...."am still recovering from our WONDERFUL vacation. Did absolutely everything that can be done on Kauai. Helicopter...Unbelievable. Kayaking to Secret Falls ... Amazing. Hiking the Napali Coast....Incredible. Snorkeling....Beautiful sights including an enormous sea turtle. Luau....Wonderful time Believe it or not we put over 600 miles on our rent a car.......and all from your wonderful condo. It could not have been better. Your place in a beautiful spot and the gardens were in bloom. A wonderful location, very clean, great view and no problems.. we also cannot thank you enough for your personal hospitality as we passed through san Diego. it really added to our memorable moments.."

  ..".we had a WONDERFUL time in Kauai. Your condo was fabulous...a great view, nice property, very comfortable. We loved Kauai..first time there. What a beautiful place. We did the usual tourist things and went in almot all directions. We snorkled, hiked, sailed, visited gardens and waterfalls and canyons. We loved just hanging out at the condo...especially sitting out on your balcony Thanks for all your helpful suggestions and for being so easy to work with. We definetly want to come back."

  ...we miss Kauai. It was hard to come home last weekend as we had such a good time. Your condo is just great. I love all the personal art work you have added. The view is just outstanding too. We all spent many a morning and evening sitting on the lanai enjoying it. I am a runner and found great places to do my runs...right from the condo and Kiahuna...thanks again

  ...just to let you know that we had a wonderful time in # 177 at Kiahuna and found it VERY dificult to leave. The weather was spectacular, the sunsets stunning and the water refreshing. The unit was welcoming and comfortable. Many thanks for sharing it with us. We were well looked after by the staff and our time there was memorable. Thanks again for everything. ...we so enjoyed ourselves
