It was wonderful to wake up to the ocean view. The unit was well appointed and the king bed was comfortable. The pull out sofa wasn't the most comfortable to sit on while watching TV. The kitchen had all the basics expected, though there were no spices, nor oils in the cabinets. Often, VRBO units have the basics for cooking a quick meal. The grounds were beautiful with plenty of green spaces, a lovely beach front lawn that was great for watching the sunset, and it is beachfront, making it very accessible for a dip in the ocean. The AC worked well and there were ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. A tip for future guests...use a sound machine or app when going to bed. The roosters crow non stop, not just at dawn. Plus the convenience of the parking by the unit also adds street noise.

We loved our stay at the Kiahuna and this Unit is really nice with beautiful views! It's in a great location and an easy walk down the path to the beach, or across the street to the pool, shopping and dining. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom has been nicely updated. Great to have the split A/C in the living room. The host and Outrigger were both very friendly and responsive. We loved it, and will definitely be back!

Perfect location near the perfect Poipu beach. Property was well furnished, clean, and the owner was very attentive to any questions. Traffic noise is a minor issue but the trade winds wafting through the condo and the birds singing will lull you to sleep. Didn’t need the A/C in May.

Paradise in the Sun

This condo was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We found everything we needed. The grounds of Kiahuna Plantation are beautiful and well maintained. The beach, beach chairs and beach towels were wonderful. I would definitely stay here again. Poipu was a great location for a winter visit; we found nice beaches for snorkeling and good hiking on the island. Seeing the turtles and seals on Poipu beach at sunrise and sunset was a thrill!

Lovely condo and resort facility

The condo itself was very comfortable, clean, well stocked and accessible to the beach and other activities that we enjoyed. We also liked the availability of the beach chairs and towels. The surface parking was very accommodating and we had great communication with the owner who answered our many questions. The shopping facility across the street was especially nice and had a variety of shops and restaurants.The only unfortunate experience that we encountered was that the condo next door is being remodeled and the noise was extreme and lasted all day until 5. You really couldn’t enjoy the nice patio overlooking the great view. A “head’s up” would have been appreciated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our staying here! This unit was well updated, well-stocked, very clean, and the views are spectacular. It was perfect for a family of 4. Two people shared the king bed and the other two shared the sofa bed. I am generally not a fan of sofa beds, but this sofa bed was very comfortable. We love that the unit came with body boards, beach chairs, and a portable cooler for the beach. Overall, I highly recommend this unit. When we return to Kiahuna Plantation, we will definitely stay here again.

The Kiahuna plantation has been a special place to us. We have been coming to the islands for years and wanted to have the ability to share it with our friends and family. The private and beautiful resort is unique and absolutely worth visiting.

What makes this property unique

Remodeled, top floor and private. This romantic indoor/outdoor space in incredible. Full size kitchen and living space with A/C. When my wife and I saw this location we fell in love with it. The views are amazing and during whale season you can see them breach from the deck! There is no other property like this one!
