this delightful shingled home sits in a quiet, safe, cul-de-sac in New Suffolk with l00 feet of private beach on Peconic Bay. Beautiful views never fail to delight. You can sit on the patio or in the many shady spots on the lawn which slopes down to the water.
Nearby are the renowned wineries of Long Island, the historic towns of Southold and Orient, and the old whaling town of Greeport, from which you can travel by ferry to Shelter Island, Sag Harbor, and on to Easthampton. From Orient, the easternmost tip of the North Fork, ferries travel across Long Island Sound to New London, Connecticut.
In summer, the local farm-stands provide the fresh fruits and vegetables for which Long Island is known. Fresh fish is caught daily and brought into the fish markets. The Fall is celebrated with hay rides and pumpkins preening along the roads.
