Petty Harbour is a Picturesque town of approximately 970 people which dates back to the 1600s. Petty Harbour is still an active fishing community. The rolling green hills which envelope the Town and the ocean sprawled ahead of it has contributed to Petty Harbour being the most photographed Town in Newfoundland. Local Amenities such as restaurants, boat/fishing tours, hiking/walking trails, marina, Mini-Aquarium and zip-lining, just to name a few, keep tourists coming back for more.
