Our weekend was spectacular!! From the moment we arrived with the welcoming plate of goodies & note on the counter to the beautiful home inside and out and spectacular views; we couldn't ask for a better weekend. Mary you're so sweet, really appreciate all your efforts to make us feel right at home. Thanks again, The Probert Family."

"This certainly is one of those places that lives up to its advertising billing. We spent a relaxing 3 days here and certainly enjoyed both the early mornings and then late afternoons on the private island, after spending time in the Parks, a short drive away. Despite the continuing drought, there was still enough flow in the streams to provide a continuous bubbling background, which made it so peaceful. The extreme heat meant that we didn't light a fire in the fire pit, but can imagine that would only add to the romantic feel when the weather is a little cooler. After dark, we grilled and ate on the upper outdoor deck. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend Crystal Cove for romantic short stays. Diana and Geoff live upstairs and were very accommodating, yet unobtrusive. As has been mentioned before, it probably wouldn't suit elderly couples or those with disabilities to stay here , because of the steep steps down to the island. With caution, though, they are perfectly manageable - but probably not after too many drinks!"

"The house was great clean, kitchen was awsome for big family we enjoyed spending time there. The location was okay. To get to sequioa it was about 2 hour drive i would recomend this place if you have a big group . Little things to know the lake pictured is not like that do to drought it is almost gone, the drive to get to house is a windy road with lots of curves. Making the reservations was great person encharged was very patient and explained everything to us. I would go back but would just spend the whole weekend there and not really go anywhere else. O yeah there is no reception no wifi if you have verizon it might work.."

"We stayed with our family of 4 and it was ideal for a Sequoia/Kings Canyon base. The house is very comfortable and very close to the Foothills visitor center. We enjoyed cooling off in the river and the picturesque views from the deck and from inside the house. It was clean and well cared for."
