"Our family of 4, including 2 college age children, spent 2 wonderful weeks over the Christmas Holiday at White Sands. We all absolutely loved it!
We had never vacationed in the Florida Keys and didn't know for sure if we would like not having the typical beach scene. But, being outdoorsy type people who enjoy kayaking, fishing and boating, White Sands was a perfect fit for us. There are 4 kayaks at the home that we used to kayak over to the mangrove coves just around the corner to the left off of the dock. We caught snappers that we fixed for lunch almost on a daily basis. In the mangrove cove, we also saw several sharks, sting rays, tarpons, iguanas and tons of different kinds of birds. Plus, the kayaks are great to take out and get just past the tree/coast line and watch the sunset. AMAZING! One night while watching the sunset, a huge sea turtle swam up to us.
The other outside amenities are equally as pleasing. The pool was heated and was a great way to spend afternoons around. The hammock was fought over daily as to who would be taking their afternoon nap in it. Plus, the deck was our go to spot for breakfast and also evening wine down time. Also, many great moments were spent hanging out or fishing off of the dock. It's incredible the amount of fish and variety of fish that are around the dock. We saw spotted rays, barracudas, puffer fish, lobsters and sharks from the dock. Plus, you can't beat the afternoon sun on the dock.
Inside was just as perfect. The kitchen is designed to allow multiple cooks prepping at once with plenty of stocked cooking equipment. The view from the dining room table was unbeatable. And, the bed in the master bedroom was more comfortable than our own at home beside the spa like bathroom.
We have already booked it for next year and can't wait to go back!"

"This was our first stay, and we enjoyed the friendly yet quiet atmosphere. The unit was very clean and very nicely decorated with nautical items. We liked having a full kitchen available. We enjoyed evenings at the tiki bar overlooking the marina and fishing from the jetty both day and night. Next time we will bring our kayaks! It is also a great place to snorkel. It was nice to come back to a peaceful place after a day in Key West, which is only an hour away. The Key Deer Refuge is just 30 minutes south and there are great nautical shops in Islamorada about 40 minutes north. A perfect location to enjoy all of the Keys!"

"We were a group of three couples that have been coming to the keys for many years. This property was outstanding in every way. The interior finishes are first class and of high quality, the beds are better than our own beds, the dock handles our 40' Proline, great amenities (bocce, putting green with sand trap and a 40 and 50 yard tee), pool was large but not deep but was perfect. Best of all there is so much privacy that we hardly ever wore any cloths."

"Recently vacationed with my husband and two other couples at this lovely home. We all own beachfront rental homes in Perdido Key so are knowledgeable of what's important and perhaps more picky than other renters in that respect. This house is perfectly set up for 3 couples or 2 families with 3 Master Suites all on one level. Our personal preference is to be outside with coffee and paper in the mornings and gather again late afternoon for drinks. Their extended covered screen porch with it's views of the water was just perfect for our needs and something we utilized extensively. The sunsets were spectacular. We enjoyed the hot tub after long days of walking and also enjoyed fishing off the dock. The kitchen was easy to use for times we prepared meals there, well stocked with the everyday items one would need. The beds were all comfortable and the house and surrounding area was quiet and peaceful throughout our week's stay. Again, to us, great beds, great outdoor areas, water views and enough baths for privacy and comfort are what helps make our vacations memorable and Villa Pamela gave us all that and more."
