"We were a group of three couples that have been coming to the keys for many years. This property was outstanding in every way. The interior finishes are first class and of high quality, the beds are better than our own beds, the dock handles our 40' Proline, great amenities (bocce, putting green with sand trap and a 40 and 50 yard tee), pool was large but not deep but was perfect. Best of all there is so much privacy that we hardly ever wore any cloths."

"My husband, two daughters (ages 8 & 10), my in-laws and I just finished our week long vacation at Casa Habana. It was wonderful! The photos do not accurately depict the house. It is way more beautiful! The whole house looks like it has been spruced up. Both bathrooms are lovely and updated as well. However, our favorite part of the house was the outdoor spaces. We spent a majority of our time on the dock. We snorkeled off the dock everyday and saw a variety of beautiful fish. In the evening, our girls loved fishing. They caught snapper, a barracuda and grunts. We also loved the small pool and hot tub, which are heated. In addition, there is a big screened in porch upstairs, where we enjoyed dinners and a large shaded porch area by the pool where we read books and watched the sunsets. We have been traveling to The Keys for 15 years and this was our favorite trip, due in large part to the rental of this house. We definitely hope to return to Casa Habana. It was wonderful!"

"My fishing partner and I enjoyed 10 wonderful days of fishing fun. This time of the year the Snapper fishing on the patch reefs is fantastic and is only a 10 minute ride from the marina. Regulars are very friendly at the Tiki hut for happy hours and share their snacks. Unit was very comfortable for 2 people and the out door grill was great for cooking our catch of the day. There is a wonderful jetty that extends out from the shore for setting in a lounge chair and reading our sipping on a cold beer. Fishing from the jetty is very good on an out going tide day or night. The surroundings are very peaceful and quiet like you are on your own island. We have been down to Lions Lair on Grassy Key on a reqular bases for 9 years and it gets harder to go home each time. Hans and Lisa respond to your needs to make your Keys visit very pleasurable and memorable. Location is also a short scenic ride from Key West and makes a wonderful day trip. Treat yourself and enjoy a great Keys vacation outside of Marathon on peaceful Grassy Key."

"Our family of 4, including 2 college age children, spent 2 wonderful weeks over the Christmas Holiday at White Sands. We all absolutely loved it!
We had never vacationed in the Florida Keys and didn't know for sure if we would like not having the typical beach scene. But, being outdoorsy type people who enjoy kayaking, fishing and boating, White Sands was a perfect fit for us. There are 4 kayaks at the home that we used to kayak over to the mangrove coves just around the corner to the left off of the dock. We caught snappers that we fixed for lunch almost on a daily basis. In the mangrove cove, we also saw several sharks, sting rays, tarpons, iguanas and tons of different kinds of birds. Plus, the kayaks are great to take out and get just past the tree/coast line and watch the sunset. AMAZING! One night while watching the sunset, a huge sea turtle swam up to us.
The other outside amenities are equally as pleasing. The pool was heated and was a great way to spend afternoons around. The hammock was fought over daily as to who would be taking their afternoon nap in it. Plus, the deck was our go to spot for breakfast and also evening wine down time. Also, many great moments were spent hanging out or fishing off of the dock. It's incredible the amount of fish and variety of fish that are around the dock. We saw spotted rays, barracudas, puffer fish, lobsters and sharks from the dock. Plus, you can't beat the afternoon sun on the dock.
Inside was just as perfect. The kitchen is designed to allow multiple cooks prepping at once with plenty of stocked cooking equipment. The view from the dining room table was unbeatable. And, the bed in the master bedroom was more comfortable than our own at home beside the spa like bathroom.
We have already booked it for next year and can't wait to go back!"
