"Simply the best location and by far the best views in Lakeside or all other condos in Whiteface Club. Truly a special place. We'll definitely book again in the future! Thanks!"

  • ALL YOU COULD NEED WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE

"Being a single parent safety is always my first concern. With this cottage I have no worries. Just steps off the main street you find yourself in a family friendly area and I felt confident enough to allow my child to have time to himself for an hour or so. Shepards Park Beach is within walking distance as well as Fort William Henry, Million Dollar Beach and Around the World Putt-Putt. It is nice to be able to cook your own meals, sit out on the back porch or just have a cup of coffee while reading the newspaper on the picnic table. Without the added expense of going out for our meals it left me with the extra money to do something special: Kayaking, Extreme Sports, Fishing, or take a ride on a Steamboat. Remember you are just a short drive to Bolton Landing, Albany, Fort Ticonderoga, and Glens Falls. The cottage is clean and comfortable. It is just the right place for someone who doesn't need all the frills of a hotel and just wants a place to call "home" for awhile. This is our second year at the cottage with a planned return visit next year. Terri has been very helpful and willing to help me with any issues that arise. With no doubt I would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants some peace and quite and leave to the vehicle "at home"."

  • Most relaxing and serene place on Earth!!

"Beth, Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home for our son's Make A Wish. Your home is stunning and we had the most wonderful time relaxing as a family. The kids really enjoyed the lake, beach, and roasting marshmallows. They also loved playing hide n seek inside the house!!!! We appreciated that everything that we needed (and them some) was already in the house!!! We also enjoyed visiting Lake George, Prospect Mountain, Ben and Jerry's (day trip to VT), Fort Ticonderoga, Railroads on Parade Museum, and Six Flags at Lake George. There was so much to do, we could have stayed another week. We hope to be able to come back next year as we really loved staying at Crystal Lake Lodge. Thanks Again for making our trip so special!!!"

  • An Autumn Sojourn

"Even a bad head cold that came on en route, and a nasty low pressure system moving up the East Coast creating a strong easterly flow off the lake could not dispel having the relaxing solitude and beauty that we sought when we booked our reservation. Loon Landing, itself is every bit the beautiful place others have eloquently described. Scott and Linda, with their description and colorful photographs have captured the place's character, as well. But it should be noted, too, that this northeastern corner of New York State with its proximity to the Adirondacks (we had a lovely drive up the St. Lawrence via U.S. 11 to Malone, then down NY Rte. 30 to Paul Smith's College, on to Saranac Lake then back to Loon Ldg. via NY 3), Vermont (we drove to Burlington for another day using I-87 down and VT Rte 2 back via S. Hero, N. Hero and Grand Isle). Forgot our passports otherwise would have also visited nearby Montreal for a bit of international flavor. The choice of restaurants in nearby Plattsburgh while not terribly varied, we found to be adequate and enjoyable. After a very busy summer with company and a major road project we were looking for rest, books, classical music listening, and a bit of new country. Loon Landing and environs was the perfect place for it all."
