"This was our second time staying at this home. The house is wonderful, from the layout to the decor to the views. We took a day trip to cannon beach to go to the farmer's market and the kids kept asking to go back to the beach house. I have a 2 and 3 year old and they love playing inside the house, but especially in the sandy area off the deck. We took the kids to the beach everyday at low tide and with their wetsuits on they jumped from tide pool to tide pool. I cooked everyday which is a great money saver. Can't say enough good things about this place."Guest: Melissa M. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 20, 2014View listing
"Our family of 6, including a baby in a play yard, was able to call this house home base during our stay on the Oregon Coast. While not extremely huge, it met all our needs. There weren't a lot of decorations and trinkets to worry about the kids breaking either. The washer and dryer were a must, and they worked nicely. The beach was a short drive or a longer walk away, and we didn't have to drive too far to see other attractions north (Cannon Beach) and south (Tillamook)."Guest: swmom Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 13, 2014View listing
"We spent the weekend in Rockaway at this incredible house and was 100% satisfied. The property was more than we had expected and it made the weekend that much better. The owners have done a great job furnishing the house with everything you will need to have a family gathering, both inside and out. The kids played on the beach, while the adults relaxed on the patio. We look forward to our next trip to Rockaway, and would recommend this home to everyone."Guest: Fisherman12 Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 6, 2014View listing
"My family rented this house over Labor Day weekend and found it to be the perfect place for our gathering at the beach. This is a really nice house to spend time in, and just about everything you'll need is provided. For the beach they have beach chairs, beach towels, toys (sand buckets, boogie boards, etc.) and there is a convenient outdoor shower for rinsing off before going inside. The beach is a really short walk from the house and for anyone not familiar with the Oregon Coast, Rockaway Beach is one of the very best family beaches (in my opinion). It is a huge stretch of really flat beach - perfect for walking (or for kids to run and run and run), flying kites, gathering shells, relaxing. This house is furnished very nicely. The living room has plenty of places to sit and a large TV. There is a huge deck with table, chairs, BBQ. Three of the (large) bedrooms are upstairs and there is a bedroom with bunkbeds for the kids downstairs. All the beds are quite comfortable. We brought our own food and the kitchen here is nice to cook in. They have all the usual kitchen cookware, plus some. Our favorite item was the griddle. It was perfect for making hamburgers at night or French Toast in the morning for a big group. There are so many other nice features about this property, I could go on and on. I will just say that our whole family loved it. We will certainly stay here again."Guest: HappySnaps Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 8, 2014View listing
