Family Beach Vacation

Our first family beach trip with my kids and grandkids! Perfect location and view. Everything was just as it was stated. Just like home away from home but with the beach! Communication with Susie was easy and she was very responsive. Would recommend- great family place to stay.

Exceptional experience- exceeded my expectations

This property exceeded all my expectations. From the detailed itinerary and instructions leading up to our trip, convenient parking and checkin process, to the immaculate, well equipped, spacious 3br, 2 bath home away from home.. the home was very clean, modern, and spacious. kitchen was fully stocked with all updated appliances you need for a long a stay (and everything worked great). plenty of closet space, extra pillows and blankets, bath towels and and the beds were comfortable. Our beach view balcony was well furnished and larger than expected! Most convenient walk to the beach (literally just cross the street and you are there! Susie was very responsive and helpful throughout our entire trip. Will definitely stay here again!

The condo itself was well appointed. Owners have done a GREAT job furnishing it. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The actual building in which the condo is in, is not the most impressive. The pool deck was the most disappointing. The water was SO warm, that a dip in the pool was not enjoyable. The pool is only 4 feet deep at it's deepest, therefore in July the water temperature is not refreshing. The hot tub was very loud, so if you were sitting near it, the noise of it running was really distracting and annoying. The temperature of the hot tub seemed almost unsafe. There were no sun shade umbrellas and it generally was not an enjoyable place to spend time. There is one very slow operating elevator in the building. The walk across the street to the beach is very short and convenient. From the back deck of the condo, there is an obstructed view of the ocean due to the beachfront condos. Unfortunately, the nearest grocery store (Piggly Wiggly) is about 20 minutes away. A convenience store/market is just a short walk from the condo that carries food items and that was helpful. This was our first visit to Mexico Beach and we would visit again. We loved that it was not crowded and the beaches were clean. We had family photos taken on the beach by a local professional photographer (Just Wright Photography) and she did a great job.

We took a little "get away" for a few days and chose to stay at this beautiful condo. It looks just like the pictures. We had a great few of the ocean and sunsets every night. The accommodations were wonderful. The bed was comfortable, the furniture in the great room was comfortable, we had all the supplies we needed in the kitchen. My husband appreciated the k-cup coffee maker so he could use some of the Black Rifle pods he brought with him. :) The room was very clean and we loved the covered parking under the building. Would recommend this unit. It is large (way larger than we needed) and roomy. We loved it.

5-star condo, 4-star location

My wife and I stayed here this past week and were very pleased with our stay. The condo was honestly one of the best rentals we've experienced. 3BR, 2BA... interior design seemed updated/brand new, beautifully decorated... I hesitate to say this next part, because I don't want to give away a hidden gem we've found (AND I don't want them to negatively adjust in response), but it was also fairly priced... and that's hard to find in beach rentals. The condo was A+... Susie (from CFVR) was helpful and on top of everything as well. (The only drawback in terms of the condo was that the pool was not in service during Feb... it would've been nice to know that ahead of time, but it wouldn't have been a deal breaker either way.) Full disclosure, though, regarding points that those thinking about traveling to Mexico Beach, FL (MBF) should be aware.... There is still a lot of rebuilding going on. Inland is not much to look at... but if you keep your eyes on the beach and the ocean, no worries. Because of all the construction, there is a lot of traffic on beach front road - not an issue when on the beach, but when in the condo with the sliding glass doors open during the day (only), the wind and waves are drowned out by the cars and trucks. The water is not your typical clear gulf water... I think a river pours in nearby, so the water is a little murkier... but it reminds me of the ocean on the Atlantic side (i.e. Hilton Head Island)... still swimmable and I wouldn't hesitate to get in (although it was too cold for us... but it was February)... There's not much in the way of restaurants in MBF - a few, but not many... your best bet is to drive into Port St. Joe (about 15-20 min drive) for more options and variety. The condo itself was a 5 out of 5. Overall trip rating was a 4 out of 5. Enjoy... thank me later... but don't tell TOO many people... we want to keep this one close to the vest!

We had a wonderful time on vacation at Unit 3K at the Club in Mexico Beach. The Ocean view from the balcony was great. The walk to the beach was very easy. The beach was secluded most of the week which is just how we like it! The pool area was nice and the hot tub is very hot! We had everything we needed in the condo for a nice stay. The beds are very comfortable. Our only issue was that we arrived at check in and the condo was still being cleaned. Not what you want after a 12 hour drive with 4 kids! But with that being the only problem is was a perfect week! Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

Perfect location for a restful vacation.

We will rent from Susie again! Very easy to work with. Beds were great, kitchen stocked perfectly. Very clean. One of the remotes to one of the TV’s wouldn’t work. She had the maintenance man there in no time. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach is great. You will not be disappointed!!

Tropical Paradise

We loved the decor of this condo, it sets the mood for a beach vacation, and feels like a tropical paradise. The views of the sunrise and sunset are breathtaking; the beach access was steps away from the condo, covered parking, and outdoor shower to rinse off. Everything about it was more than we expected, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for making our girls weekend birthday bash a blast!

We loved the memories we made here in Mexico beach. The condo is perfect for 8. It's beautifully decorated and well stocked. The location is perfect. You can see and hear the ocean from the balcony. Don't let the across the street beach access steer you away. It's even closer than some I've stayed in on the beach. We will stay again.

We loved the property the only bad thing was the day before we were leaving about a mile up the coast they were pumping sewage into the ocean so it turned the water black down to where we were on the beach and it smelled like crap.

We had family in three different condos; ours was the best of all. Nicely laid out and decorated. The balcony was large and everyone gathered there in the morning and evenings. We enjoyed walking on the beach every morning. Local restaurant, Killers, had the best shrimp po' boys and the catch of the day, flounder, was awesome! Enjoyed the local shopping--the IGA, a few steps away, had souvenirs, groceries and liquor! Everyone we met--locals and tourists were pleasant and friendly. Owner was easy to work with and friendly.

Their first rentals were located in the tranquil town of Mexico Beach, Florida, but they soon expanded to include a mountain retreat in Blue Ridge/Ellijay, Georgia, as well as a few local short-term rentals in Alabama. By the end of 2022, they had a portfolio of four stunning beach condos, a mountain creekside retreat, and several Alabama rentals.
