Located in the heart of Amelia Island. Candice Cove historic vacation rental property is a dream location. Spectacular Oceanfront views vacation home is a home away from home. It is the perfect place for a family getaway, celebration, honeymoon, anniversary, family reunion, corporate team event and small group retreat. Candice Cove is one of the Historic homes on American Beach Oceanfront. American Beach is a historic HOA beach community located north of Jacksonville, Florida on Amelia Island in Nassau County. During the time of segregation and the Jim Crow era, African Americans were not allowed to swim at most of beaches in Jacksonville, and several black-only areas were created. American Beach was the largest and most popular, and was a community established by Abraham Lincoln Lewis, Florida’s first black millionaire and president of the Afro-American Life Insurance Company.
American Beach was founded in 1935 by Florida’s first black millionaire, Abraham Lincoln Lewis, and his Afro-American Life Insurance Company. The plan was for his employees to have a place to vacation and own homes for their families by the shore. Throughout the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, summers at American Beach were busy with families, churches and children. It was a place where African Americans could enjoy “Recreation and Relaxation Without Humiliation”. The beach included hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs as well as homes and other businesses.

Very clean place. The host was nice. There was no accurate bed size description. The kitchen did have a small roaches that would appear every day.It had a nice outside seating area and the private walk to the beach was a plus.

Beautiful property, we absolutely loved our stay here. You can hear the waves while sleeping. We lived in the expansive front porch! At night you can walk down to the beach and have it to yourself. Definitely planning to return. Amelia Island is amazing.

Family Beach Vacation
We absolutely love this place—it's our little slice of paradise! We've stayed here multiple times, and each visit has been just as wonderful as the last. The home is beautifully maintained, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. Everything was perfect, and we’re so thankful for the chance to stay here again. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Anthony was great to work with. The house was clean and was very close to the beach. The down stairs is a great space for gathering but the back porch was my favorite spot because of the constant breeze.

Enjoyed this cottage
We were unfortunate to be there during an approaching hurricane Had three wonderful days at the beach a short walk across the dunes the owner was very accommodating Thus was our third stay and we plan on coming back soon

RIGHT ON THE BEACH
We loved that we could enjoy the beach and be right within walking distance. We had so much fun and enjoyed every minute!!

The location was perfect to spend time on the beach and do some shopping as well. Great private location and not over run with people. Highly Recommend

My personal hobbies are entertaining family and friends, event planning, cooking, playing my trumpet, interior home design, life coaching, biking, traveling, personal style consulting and mentoring youth.

Candice Cove is a beautiful 3 bedroom vacation home located in the heart of Amelia Island and nestled in the Oceanfront Dunes of American Beach. Candice Cove dream beach front property is the perfect place for a family getaway, celebrations, honeymoon, retreat, anniversary, beach wedding/reception, family reunion and small corporate team meeting . Come enjoy American Beach peaceful HOA community with its historic homes, museum, tall sand dunes, wonderful ocean breezes and peaceful relaxation.

Candice Cove is a very unique Historic American Beach property with one of the most amazing ocean views just steps to the water. Our property has a main living area with 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Family Room and Fully Equipped Kitchen. Candice Cove is also equipped with Comcast Xfinity X1 cable, security and hi speed wifi throughout the home. There are flat screen TV's in every room, 65 inch Samsung 4K Smart TV in the family room and a single Bluetooth speakers in the Family Room. We have a Ring Doorbell Camera on the front door for front area & street view security.
We have added a lower-level entertainment area below the house equipped with lounge area, custom bench seating, large 15 seat custom bar with sink, 65-inch Vizio 4K Smart TV, Kenmore Front Loader Washer/Dryer, Unisex Rest Room, Baby Changing Station, Small Refrigerator.
The property can also be rented for various functions, i.e., weddings, receptions, parties, reunions, family gatherings, group barbeques, small church & corporate events.
an additional $1800 fee and service fee will apply. All functions require prior approval from owner any violation of this policy is subject to immediate eviction from the property. All parties and functions/events will require a separate rental contract and must be executed with the Property Owner. We only allow one renter on the property through the duration of the rental agreement. There are never 2 separate renters on the property during a renters stay.
