We had to wait an extra hour and a half to get into the property however we were made aware ahead of time. Mr. Hughes was very nice and helpful. We plan on returning again next year

Perfect home for family. The outdoor space is wonderful especially for little ones. Location- about 50 steps to the beach! Located close to anything you need but feels secluded.Home has everything you need for a great trip.It is easy to be a host when everything is going well, we experienced a power outage due to weather and Anthony responsiveness was wonderful. Made sure we new where emergency lanterns were etc and kept us updated with Neil power restored.

Family Beach Vacation

We absolutely love this place—it's our little slice of paradise! We've stayed here multiple times, and each visit has been just as wonderful as the last. Great Location

First of all the property was very clean upon arrival. The house is an older house but it is nice, it is a historic local house from years ago. Very close to the beach with just a short walk and very nice back porch and sitting area down below. You could not ask for a better owner in Anthony, he is super nice and responded quickly to questions or concerns. I would recommend anyone to stay here and I would definitely return.

Awesome Location

This is our family's third time staying at Candice Cove, and we've already booked it again for next year. That should tell you how much we love staying here. The house is in a terrific location. The beach is wide and is at the end of the area where you can drive on the beach. Therefore it tends to be a little quieter (especially during the weekdays) and safer if you bring little ones with you who might be oblivious to vehicles driving around. Anthony, the owner, is extremely responsive and provides everything you could possibly need for your stay. The fact that the property takes dogs is a bonus, and there is ample area to walk them. The property is also very clean. Overall, this property is a winner!

Nice stay right on the beach

Our family of four enjoyed a relaxing time over New Years. Great to be just steps from the beach. The downstairs area of the property was not open during our stay.

We were unfortunate to be there during an approaching hurricane Had three wonderful days at the beach a short walk across the dunes the owner was very accommodating Thus was our third stay and we plan on coming back soon

Great location

Great beachfront property that is very close to everything! Very near to grocery store, gas station/convenience store, shops, and 18 mins drive to historic downtown! The kitchen is a bit small but it worked for us! We wished there was a dishwasher. But other than that, they have all the kitchen stuff you may need! There was some construction in the basement but it was put away and safe with our kids around. The kids LOVED the outdoor shower! Overall a wonderful and fun stay!

First Beach Trip this year May 3 2025

Overall everything was nice. Not far to the beach. Very private. Everything was well stocked. Host was very courteous and easy to get in touch with if you had a question. There was still damage from the hurricane to the lower inside, but it is under construction as I speak. We had a lovely time and beautiful weather. I would definitely recommend this cottage. Hated to leave.

Loved our stay!

This house was the perfect getaway for 4 adults and 2 small children. Older house with tons of character and very clean. Awesome bar/hangout area underneath as well! Great location that isnt busy and we had the beach all to ourselves. Anthony was in contact with us through the week with anything we needed for our stay!

During my years of travel I've had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people and built many great relationships from various cultures.

My personal hobbies are entertaining family and friends, event planning, cooking, playing my trumpet, interior home design, life coaching, biking, traveling, personal style consulting and mentoring youth.

The thing I enjoy the most is bringing family and friends together and creating an environment that fosters love and bonding. I spent the past 2 years renovating this beautiful historic cottage and wanted it to be coastal, unique, unassuming, warm, peaceful and inviting.

Candice Cove is a beautiful 3 bedroom vacation home located in the heart of Amelia Island and nestled in the Oceanfront Dunes of American Beach. Candice Cove dream beach front property is the perfect place for a family getaway, celebrations, honeymoon, retreat, anniversary, beach wedding/reception, family reunion and small corporate team meeting . Come enjoy American Beach peaceful HOA community with its historic homes, museum, tall sand dunes, wonderful ocean breezes and peaceful relaxation.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Candice Cove is a very unique Historic American Beach property with one of the most amazing ocean views just steps to the water. Our property has a main living area with 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Family Room and Fully Equipped Kitchen. Candice Cove is also equipped with Comcast Xfinity X1 cable, security and hi speed wifi throughout the home. There are flat screen TV's in every room, 65 inch Samsung 4K Smart TV in the family room and a single Bluetooth speakers in the Family Room. We have a Ring Doorbell Camera on the front door for front area & street view security.

We have added a lower-level entertainment area below the house equipped with lounge area, custom bench seating, large 15 seat custom bar with sink, 65-inch Vizio 4K Smart TV, Kenmore Front Loader Washer/Dryer, Unisex Rest Room, Baby Changing Station, Small Refrigerator.

The property can also be rented for various functions, i.e., weddings, receptions, parties, reunions, family gatherings, group barbeques, small church & corporate events.
an additional $1800 fee and service fee will apply. All functions require prior approval from owner any violation of this policy is subject to immediate eviction from the property. All parties and functions/events will require a separate rental contract and must be executed with the Property Owner. We only allow one renter on the property through the duration of the rental agreement. There are never 2 separate renters on the property during a renters stay.
