We were very happy and comfortable in Val's cottage. The place was clean, had comfy beds and soft towels. Everything we needed was there to make our stay relaxing. The location was perfect to all our needs. Val was a lovely and responsive host and we look forward to staying again in the future.
Cosy home in a fabulous location, next to Marble Hill Park and the Thames riverside. Val is very friendly with good communication and the cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
Our second time staying in this great little house with easy access to everything you want to get to. Well serviced by public transport, close to parks and pubs and the owners are delightful.
Well equiped and cozy cottage in a beautiful setting. Its hard to believe you're actually in London as the location is so peaceful and bucolic. Highly recommend
The cottage is situated in a residential area with almost no street noise. Nice shops in walking distance, park around the corner. Railway station also in walking disctance.
Lovely location, easy access to public transport, shops, cafe and there was a park nearby.
The home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
The host was thoughtful and clear with instructions.
The only downside was lack of daytime parking, but you can park nearby overnight. Not a big issue at all.
Would definitely stay there again.
Cozy cottage with great public transport connection
It was a great week with the kids. The little cottage is very nice and cozy. The kids (9 & 7) loved it!
It was everything well prepared. Thanks also to Val and her son for outstanding nice communication on all channels and in answering all questions upfront very swiftly!
We are looking forward to a possible next stay. Thank you!
We had a lovely time! After spending busy days in London, it was so easy to get on the train at Waterloo station and head straight to Saint Margaret station. From there, it was a pleasant and safe walk to Val’s cottage. Between the train station and the cottage, there are many nice restaurants, coffee shops, and markets to get whatever you need. One of our favorite activities was to sit out on the second floor terrace in the evenings, surrounded by trees and enjoying the beauty and peace while reflecting on our day. We blow a fuse parentheses our fault! Parentheses and Freddie ride within moments to fix the issue. He was very friendly and willing to help us out, despite the fact that it was late in the evening. We highly recommend this Montpelier Row cottage!
Thank dear Val and Freddie for accomodating us so perfectly in your lovely cottage.
The appartment including the terrace are so nicly furnished, clean, neat and tidy. - As we have cooked for ourselves during our stay we absolutely appreciated the equipment in the kitchen. We didn't miss anything at all.
To make our stay as perfect as possible, we have asked Val quite a number of questions in advance. And during our stay we had a few questions to Freddie. Both of them were outstanding in their communication, absolutely friendly, always willing to help and each advice was fruitful.
All in all Val and Freddie made us feel home in that lovely Twickenham Cottage. We'll definitely come back as soon as we are in London again.
Thank you for everything,
T & M
Had a lovely stay. The cottage had a great location for walks on the river and near to train station and town center. The cottage is lovely and clean with all items that you need for a comfortable stay. The house owner Val is very kind and helpful. We would recommend this place and would love to come back and visit.
Perfectly clean, good quality infrastructure, beddings, bathroom and kitchen utensils.
Very quiet family neighbourhood. Nice and convenient surroundings. Good connectivity.
Very friendly and helpful host.
A beautiful cottage, a pub just a short walk away, and close access to mass transit. Our Christmas reunion with our son who had been studying abroad in London was wonderful thanks to this great cottage. Will stay here again whenever we get back this way.
This was a repeat visit to Terrace Cottage and we simply love everything about it, location, environment and the cosiness of the cottage. Our dog always loves trotting into Marble Hill park or down to the Thames and it simply an idyllic venue in every way. The management service is extremely helpful and efficient. Cannot recommend highly enough. We hope to return soon.
The cottage exceeded all expectations!
Inviting, immaculately clean, quiet , warm, plush linen and very comfortable beds.
Great location between Twickenham and Richmond (easy, flat walk to both locations or multiple buses at end of street). Direct and no hassle bus access (again at end of street) to Heathrow was an added bonus.
The owner was friendly, accessible , helpful , and, accomodating.
I travel overseas regularly, always stay in apartments/cottages and have high expectations of the properties I rent. Few properties exceed my expectations but this property did. The facilities, location and interactions with the owner combined to provide a perfect holiday cottage and stay. I can’t wait to revisit!
Absolutely love this cottage and location
Everything we needed from a self catering holiday
Would highly recommend Val and her cottage
Will be using again
Beautiful location very close to Marble hill park and in same time near London city.

Lovely little well equipped comfortable cottage.
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely little cottage. The location is great - down a quiet little cul de sac backing on to the wooded edge of the park, but minutes from bus and train and easy walking to both Richmond and Twickenham and lovely riverside walks.

Lovely, Quiet Location
My family of three loved our stay in Val's cottage. The location worked very well for us for sight-seeing in London. We chose the short bus trip from the end of the street to Richmond and then the underground into London (which took anywhere from 40-50 minutes depending on the time of day and the destination); but, there is overground train service as well. We also used both a direct bus and bus/underground service to/from Heathrow which each took about 45 minutes to one hour depending on the time of day. Richmond offered fantastic grocery shopping and restaurant choices. The neighborhood was very pretty and quiet -- particularly Montpelier Row itself. It was so nice to return here after a day spent in the city. The house was as-described -- plenty of space for us to spread out after a long day touring. Val was very responsive to any questions that we had and responded promptly. The only suggestion for improvement that we have is that certain areas of the house could use a refreshing, particularly the washing machine. However, we would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend Montpelier Cottage to anyone considering a stay in this area.

Wonderful stay at this delightful cottage in St Margaret's, a few minutes walk from Richmond. Cosy & comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Ideal location for exploring this beautiful borough with easy access to central London. … as before!
The same impressions as before: small, clean and well-equipped, e.g. with central heating (stay 12/01-2016/7). Communication/ support of the owner/ manager was easy, fast and reliable.
