Our home is a modernised 12th floor apartment in La Daille with incredible views up the Isere valley to the Solaise. With 2 double bedrooms and a further 2 rooms with bunk beds, plus a sofa bed in the living area, the accommodation is highly flexible. The large open plan dining and living space is wonderful for spending the evenings, and the kitchen is well appointed and fully functional.
The local amenities are excellent - there is a supermarket, bakery, ski hire shop, newsagent, coffee shop and restaurant, all in the same building as our apartment, and there are several other great places to eat and drink within a 2 minute walk. Alternatively, the free bus service to Val D'Isere is fast, frequent and reliable, running well into the night.

Superb accommodation

Our 2nd visit to this lovely apartment. Ideally situated on the slopes. Very spacious and comfortable with plenty of kitchen equipment, comfy throws, bedding etc. Fabulous views and close to speedy lifts. A lovely family holiday.

Lovely Apartment

This apartment ticked all the boxes for our family holiday in La Daille. Very spacious, well equipped apartment. All as the pictures and images. Close to ski lifts, bus stops, shops, bars and take away.

Great apartment near slopes and bar/restaurants

We stayed in the apartment in Jan 25. Five adults easily accommodated with space for 2/3 others. Great living space which you often don’t find in ski apartments. Information and communication with the owner was great and gave us all we needed. 150 metres from the La Daile lift for easy access to Tignes and Val D. Thoroughly recommend

Fabulous apartment

This apartment has easy access to the lifts of Val D’isere. You can ski right back to the door. The apartment has everything that you need and is within easy walking distance of ski hire shops. The bus stops very nearby so you can also get into the centre of Val. A gem with all you need for a great stay.

Perfect spacious ski apartment.

Every aspect of our visit to this apartment exceeded expectations and we have visited the Alps for many years. The information the owners provided should be the formula for other properties, so clear with very helpful advice. It really was home from home, so well equipped for all our needs. Very prompt access to the apartment, with ski uplift direct from the apartment and bus service to La Daille on the doorstep. The car parking space is easily accessible and enough for two family saloon cars. A well stocked local shop has reasonable prices given it is in a ski resort. The view from the main balcony is awesome!

Perfect location

It was a very nice appartement. Rooms/bathrooms are not that big, but spacious enough. It was nice to have an open kitchen and living room where there was enough room for everyone. Appartement could use a little renovation because it is a bit older but overall it’s a good appartement. Location was perfect, you can ski right up to the door. Store right around the corner. Val d’Isere is a 30min walk or you can take the (free) bus which takes you there in 5min. Very good and large ski area, also for beginners (a lot of long green/blue slopes). In short, we had a very nice ski holiday with our family.

Great location

We had a great few days. The apartment is very close to the piste and offers easy access up and down to Val D’Isere via the excellent bus service. The apartment is a very good size and comfortable if you want to relax there in evenings. Management and owner Toby very helpful and responsive. One criticism is that it didn’t seem to have more than a very quick once over in terms of cleaning. We found someone else’s dirty clothes down side of one of beds. And would have been ideal if someone had made up the beds before we arrived after a very lengthy transfer and arriving in early hours of the morning. But overall was good value for money in a great spot.

Thanks for the feedback John and glad you like our home - I'm sorry that the apartment was not as clean as you would have hoped - I have checked and it was cleaned after the last guests left about a week earlier so perhaps there was some dust etc. We pay the cleaner 150 Euros per clean so there is no excuse and I have asked them to be more vigilant. It's tricky for us to make up the beds in advance as different groups like different configurations of singles/doubles, but with notice we can sometimes arrange this - one for next time! Toby

One of our best weeks of skiing in the alps. Toby has been a great host. He got us ALL the information we needed to spend a fantastic time and the apartment was absolutely wonderful, clean, modern, plenty of space in it, close to slopes and all services...It can’t be better. We will repeat

Très bien situé, vue exceptionnelle

Appartement spacieux et bien situé près des remontées de La Daille. Nous avons bien apprécié les équipements de cuisine fournis, l’accès aux condiments de base (à remplacer) les deux places de stationnement. Nous avons moins apprécié le délai pour réparer une toilette défectueuse et l’absence de wifi surtout pour des étrangers.

Merci pour les gentils mots Émile. Je suis vraiment désolé pour la toilette cassées. Dès que j'en ai été informé, j'ai organisé la réparation. Nous n'avons pas besoin du Wi-Fi dans l'appartement, car nous avons beaucoup de données sur nos téléphones et le Wi-Fi est généralement disponible dans Val D'Isere et La Daille. Malheureusement Wi-FI n'est pas disponible dans le batiment. Cordialement, Toby et Jacqui.

Tout à proximité

Nous avons passé d’extrêmes bonnes vacances, tout était a proximité : location de ski et supermarché en bas de l’immeuble, pieds des pistes, accès à Val d’Isère par un bus gratuit… Le logement était top aussi avec de l’espace : très belle pièces de vie (cuisine, salon et salle à manger) et 4 chambres

Super séjour !

Merci beaucoup pour l'accueil ! Merci à Marlène, la concierge, qui était très attentionnée et bienveillante. Merci à Toby, le propriétaire, pour cet appartement très agréable, lumineux et bien équipé. Très belle vue sur les pistes. Le parking couvert pour 2 véhicules est très appréciable. Je recommande vivement !

I am an engineer, currently working on medical devices to help patients with infections ensure they receive the most appropriate antibiotic, on time, every time. I also spend time working with local and national charities that help encourage children to take up careers in science, technology and maths. I recently completed working with my local scout group to build a new hut, which we completed in less than 2 years, including fundraising £200,000.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We fell in love with the property as soon as we saw it. We have always preferred the intimacy of La Daille to the hustle and bustle of Val D'Isere, especially knowing we can visit Val by bus whenever we want. The views from the apartment are breathtaking, and nothing beats skiing down OK or Orange at the end of the day, into La Rosee Blanche for a beer before the short walk home (50 metres!) And the new 10 person telecabine means we can be up the mountain in only a couple of minutes from leaving the apartment in the mornings, giving easy and immediate access to the slopes of Val D'Isere and Tignes (not that we knew that when we bought it!)

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Our apartment is one of only two or three in the large buildings in La Daille that can easily accommodate 8 people in comfort. Also, being on the 12th floor, the views up the valley over Val D'Isere and up the Solaise, are incredible. Our apartment has also been thoroughly modernised, including new fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and induction hob, and electrical sockets that take UK and European plugs, as well as having USB A and C outlets.
