Loch View Lodge is a Scandinavian-style lodge, perfectly set in a quiet and picturesque location in the Hunters Quay Holiday Park. The lodge commands stunning loch views from your lodge windows and the outside deck. Privately owned this inviting two bedroom retreat is perfect for families or couples wanting to enjoy a relaxed or adventurous break-away.

Interior
Warm and welcoming the lodge offers quality and contemporary interiors. Light and airy the spacious open plan living area has full length picture windows with views, comfortable sofas and a cosy wood burning stove. There is an open dining room seating up to six and a very well equipped kitchen to cook up a delicious feast.

On the upper level the lodge sleeps up to four guests, featuring a double bedroom with wonderful views over the loch and an ensuite Jack and Jill style bathroom. The second bedroom is a twin and has access to the bathroom by the landing door. There is a second bathroom with toilet and shower on the ground floor. Cot & High chair on request

The large open deck area, complete with outdoor furniture is a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy alfresco eating or fully unwind while soaking up the stunning loch views and scenic surroundings.

An idyllic location to explore the region or simply taking some time out to soak up some Scottish sun, or cosy up by the log fire in winter. Loch View Lodge is located within the Hunter’s Quay Holiday Village where it offers swimming pools, a leisure centre, games, and a bar and restaurant. Guests can pay direct to use the facilities within the Holiday Village. Paid activities are not included in your accommodation price.

Great holiday home

Second time we have stayed in this lodge. Nice and spacious and quiet location. It is a bit of a walk to the holiday park centre and shop but easy if you like a walk. Could do with the back road filling in the potholes as it is direct to the lodge.

Relaxing stay

Stayed for a long weekend. Easy enough to find the lodge which is on a large site. We'll presented, lovely views, quiet and peaceful. Minutes drive from Western ferries port. As a base it's well positioned to get to various places. Thoroughly recommend and hope to visit again.

The property was comfortable and clean and very relaxing but what was a big let down was the quality of the beds/mattresses. They were very uncomfortable and spoilt what could hae been an excellent holiday home.

Good lodge but location isn’t ideal

The lodge was very well taken care of, much bigger than I expected, with everything available for cooking and clean. Our kids loved the cosy feel and the little nook upstairs they called the “chill room”. The lodge was on a big holiday park, where the older houses have a lot of charm, but they were putting up a lot of ugly uniform chalets which is a shame. It al looked well kept and our house had pretty flowers. In the area there are nice opportunities to go hiking, but Dunoon is not a very charming place and it takes as while to get anywhere from the peninsula.

Lodge was absolutely spectacular. Beautiful inside and out, everything inside you'd ever need. Stocked with DVDs, books, games,free WiFi. Owner extremely helpful by texting. Just brilliant holiday.

Lovely lodge in a lovely setting, gorgeous views over the Loch. Nice decking area to the front to enjoy the views. The lodge was well equipt with all the amenities you'd need. Along with comfy sofas, WiFi, netflix, board games, books etc.. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional. The amenities on site were great for families and couples alike . Would 100% recommend

Just what a needed...

I stayed 4 days on my own, it was idyllic and a friends daughter joined me for 3 nights from the usa and she was blown away. Could not fault anything.... perfect break during tough times and the owners attention to detail to prevent covid spreading was impressive, better than major hotel chains.

Wonderful stay

This property has everything you could need for a comfortable cosy stay, the view of the Loch is stunning and it is a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Argyl coast.

Einzigartige Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage

Das zweistöckige Haus in Form eines Dreiecks hat uns in jeglicher Hinsicht überzeugt. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich, dafür entschädigt aber nicht zuletzt die traumhafte Lage oberhalb der Bucht. Im Häuschen ist alles vorhanden, was es für einen unbeschwerten Ferienaufenthalt braucht. Z.T. fehlen in der Küche ein paar Gegenstände, die praktisch wären (z.B. Schwingbesen). Bei uns war zudem keine Küchenwäsche vorhanden, aber die ging vermutlich einfach vergessen. Neben dem Haus hat es einen Rasen, wo die Kinder unbeschwert spielen können. Wir können diese zweistöckige Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

wee have a good time staying at lodge everything there for families cannot fault it that's our second time there wont be last time....the only thing were lodge is and want to go to club house at night is the lighting not very good got to watch footing.....but that's not owners fault feel could do with better lighting.

A paceful & attractive enviroment. Views of the loch incredible. A glowing log fire at night. Access to the caravan site facilities. Visits from the local birds. Even from a fawn one evening. We came away completly relaxed.

Loch View

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Loch View Lodge. Only down side was having to drive the long way round, over a very bumpy and pot holed road , as we had no access through the vehicle barriers within Hunters Quay.
