The Cannonborough / Elliotborough neighborhood is nearby all the best attractions of downtown Charleston. This area is full of popular local eateries, including Five Loaves Café and Bon Banh Mi, each perfect for a casual bite to eat. For fine dining, we recommend heading to Trattoria Lucca, a delectable Italian restaurant near the MUSC campus. For those with a sweet tooth, make sure to check out Sugar Bakeshop on Cannon Street, for a variety of homemade treats made with local ingredients. In the evening, visit D’Allesandro’s for local beers and gourmet pizzas or the Warehouse neighborhood bar.
If you like shopping, we recommend walking six blocks to upper King Street where you’ll find antique shops, book stores, galleries and fashion boutiques. We also recommend strolling Spring Street where you’ll find the surf shop, Rogue Wave, and Continuum Skate Shop.
