It has high ceilings and an attractive living/dining room with a double sofa bed, dining furniture, traditional 'terrazzo' flooring and a wall almost entirely composed of floor-to-ceiling glazed doors flooding the room with light and opening directly onto a romantic columned balcony, a superb vantage point from which to observe the comings and goings along the 'Salizada' below. The kitchen, although rather tiny, is sufficiently equipped for light cooking while the double bedroom is large and stylishly fitted out with a comfortable king size bed, terrazzo flooring and an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower over.

Check-in and Check-out procedures

Upon your arrival, one of our representatives will meet you at the vaporetto stop (or water taxi disembarkation point) closest to the apartment (as agreed during our prior correspondence with you) and accompany you to the property. All the information relating to your apartment such as heating, use of the kitchen and, air-conditioning and internet etc. will be provided together with a welcome information file and a 24hr emergency contact no. It is at this point that payment for the Security Deposit is taken by our representative - for further details of methods of payment etc. please see the ‘Property Rates��� section. Standard check-in time is between 3.00 pm. and 7.30 pm. daily. (It may be possible to arrange different check-in times upon request at the time of booking. Please note that arrivals between 7.30 pm. and midnight incur a late arrival fee, payable in cash upon arrival.) We kindly ask you to check out by 11.00 am in order that we may prepare the apartment for its next guests.

                                                    A sunny and welcoming apartment on the second floor of a peaceful antique 17th century palazzo in the delightful San Samuele district - a calm and cultured neighbourhood with a gentle, upmarket buzz where galleries sit close to antique shops, well clear of the hustle and bustle yet a mere stone's throw to the Palazzo Grassi Museum of Modern Art and the Campo Santo Stefano with its inviting outdoor cafes and local colour. Steps away from the illustrious ‘Palazzo Mocenigo’ on the Grand Canal - the one time Venetian bolthole of ‘mad, bad and dangerous to know’ British romantic poet and literary figure, Lord Byron (1788-1824), and next door to ‘Casa Veronese’ - home of the outstanding 16th Century Italian Renaissance painter, Paolo Veronese (creator of ‘Wedding at Cana’ and ��Feast in the House of Levi’ which today hangs in the Accademia Academy of Fine Arts just across the nearby Accademia Bridge), Ca Grassi 2 is bright, cheerful and nicely furnished in modern style.                                                     Property rates: All views on Venice rates, irrespective of length of stay, are fully inclusive of all utilities. * - gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, final cleaning, welcome on arrival and check-in up until 7.30 pm.** are all included, as are air-conditioning and internet access if available at your chosen apartment. There are no hidden charges.
