Angel Cove Family Vacation House

4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, large private pool with attached hot tub, fully equipped kitchen open to the dining area and screened porch. Excellent for preparing large meals. Includes 3 large TVs, indoor Jacuzzi tub, lake dock, all setup and ready for fun! (sleeps 8 in beds, max 20 guests)

Located only a short drive from Atlanta, this family vacation fun house includes a full size swimming pool, jetted hot tub, large outdoor deck, screened in porch, massive 70” group viewing TV in the main living room. Plus there is a very large outdoor area surrounding the swimming pool, providing loads of outdoor seating in a private area. The house also includes a private dock directly on Lake Lanier, a great staging area for those pulling their boats out of storage for a couple spins around the lake. The master bathroom has a Jacuzzi bathtub. For the kids there are stuffed animals, inflatable pool toys, and an actual yard big enough to play in! This family vacation spot has something for the whole family.

Note: the wooded area around the house controlled by the Army Corp of engineers is open for hiking, plus the trail to the dock and of course the dock itself are all open to guests.

Note: the garage is being used for storage and is not included.

Note: The lake water level can vary significantly over time, it is important to check the level before making plans on the lake. On occasion the dock can be grounded and unusable.

This is the best equipped house that we have ever rented. I absolutely loved that everything was labeled. Loved the pool and screened porch. The ONLY thing that was a bit challenging was the walk to the dock. Communication with owner and manager was great. I would absolutely stay here again.

The house is large, has plenty of room and is very comfortable. We had all we needed. We used the pol and spa daily. We appreciated the extras in the house, from kitchen necessities to plenty of bath supplies and pool towels. It was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice, Quiet Getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at Angel Cove. Very nice area and quiet neighborhood. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the pool, outdoor hot tub and indoor jacuzzi. The host and property manager were very nice and responsive. We’re considering going back sometime in the winter to bring my mom to get her out of the N.H. snow!! Great time in Georgia! Thank you!

Great location

We had a great time and the location was perfect. The driveway was steep and we couldn’t get our boat down to the house. There was space to park on the street. Anthony was great and stayed in touch with me throughout our stay. If you like Asian food the grocery stores are big and amazing. ;)

Great accommodations!

The house was clean and well stocked, as described. The house was large and the perfect layout for our family of 7. The shaded walk to the boat dock was manageable and well-marked. We took a foldable wagon to take items that we needed for our day on the boat. We were able to back our boat and trailer down the sloped drive to the basement pad with careful maneuvering. The pool and hot tub were clean and greatly enjoyed. We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay and would definitely consider staying again.

A Simple Quiet Getaway

For the most part that was just what it was … A simple quiet getaway…. in the mornings the early risers enjoyed the woods surrounded patio with ceiling fan for breakfast and prayer time. As noon approached (sometimes later) the teens awoke and made their way down the picturesque nature path to the dock where our Georgia relatives would meet up with their water toys and go boating, seadooing, and paddle boarding for the better part of the day. The day ended with some catching a sun set cruise. Finally dinner, pool, hot tub and night time activities of gaming with cards and/or electronics. Things loved by all besides lake activities and the very nice house was the pool toys and, believe it or not, the labeling of every cabinet for easy finding of things. Thank you for allowing us to love on your home.

Angel Cove retreat

Anthony is a great host and the property, amenities and location was excellent. We had a great month on the lake, pool, dock, and hot tub! We enjoyed the space, pool table, and many nights on the back porch and in the pool. Pool side lounge chairs would have been icing on the cake.

terrific getaway during covid

The house is great with lots of room - pool was fantastic but needed some cleaning. We rented boats on the lake and enjoyed having access to the lake and the nearby campground for walking. Anthony is a fantastic host!

Perfect for our large family

We had plenty of room and plenty of bathrooms for our group of 14 adults to sleep over. Anthony was very open to communication and called as soon as we got there to make sure everything was fine. Check in was super easy as was check out. My favorite space was the screened porch--perfect to get away from the chaos for a bit and sheltered enough to be cozy with a blanket even in cold weather.

Gem on the lake

This is a nice property that is close to lake Lanier. The house is on a quiet road with very little traffic. We had a great time on a long weekend and utilized the pool and hot tub since the weather wasn’t great. I would recommend this rental to friends.

This home has absolutely everything you need. While I was only visiting with 1 other person, I can see this being a fantastic home for a group that wants to spend time on the lake. The home is in a subdivision but feels like a secluded private property. Anthony is incredibly responsive and very accomodating. This house is literally about 40 minutes from Downtown Atlanta but seems like a remote getaway. I cant wait to come back.

Quiet Getaway

We had a group of 10 guys for an annual getaway and Anthony's property was the perfect spot for us. The house was very well appointed with adequate sleeping space for the 10 of us. We spent our entire extended weekend hanging around the house, whether it was in the private pool/hot tub, large kitchen, screened in patio, or living room. The house was close enough to any store you could possibly need (Kroger, Target, Lowes, Costco) that we had no problem running out for anything we forgot. While it wasn't at all a concern for my group since we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out indoors or by the pool, Lake Lanier is not visible from the home and is a bit of a trek away on a dirt path through the woods. If your hope is to enjoy the lake itself, be sure to have a boat. If, like us, all you need is a quiet getaway with some nice touches, Anthony's home is perfect.
