Lovely 2 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury lodge with views overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake and Skiddaw mountain range. Lake accessible by a jetty between March and Nov only.
Set on a lovely tranquil 5 star award winning park. Ideal retreat for walking, fishing, canoeing and cycling. Nearest pub 1 mile. Ideal base to visit areas within the Lake District National Park. Keswick being 6 miles and Cockermouth 7 miles.

The hosts were excellent every time I spoke to Julie she contacted me straight away. The lodge was just beautiful and surroundings. The lodge had every comfort one needs when you go away. It was warm, comfy , and spotless. And we had a lovely bottle of wine and brewing up facilities plus biscuits who left for us what more could you ask for and talk. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to come again .

A fabulous place to stay and great base for exploring all that the Lakes have to offer. There is access to the lake for paddle-boarding and swimming. Well equipped and well presented lodge with everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely book again. Very quiet location but within a short drive of Keswick.

Great location

The cabin is in excellent condition with a good range of quality kitchen ware. The view is fantastic. This really is one of best cabins to hire in Bassenthwaite. We have stayed here on a few occasions and will be returning soon.
