Sam Hill's Cottage, built in 1934, has the charm of Prescott history with the conveniences of today. Owned by a descendant of Sam Hill and nestled among granite hills, our cottage is a true Prescott experience. Founded in 1877 The Sam'l Hill Hardware Company was destroyed along with the rest of Whiskey Row on Montezuma Street during the infamous Prescott Fire. By 1903 the rebuilt store soon became the region's largest hardware supplier. "Why in the Sam Hill are you telling me this" you ask? Because we want you to experience Prescott past and present in Sam Hill's Cottage.

Loved it on first sight. More when we left.
Delightful stay. Will repeat. We loved it. Perfect for two couples. Very quiet location in town among the rocks. Well appointed. Great kitchen, and you can fold you laundry in a laundry room!
This is a very beautiful place on its own and everything is in great shape, or new. Loved it! We were not disappointed in any way and had a great stay. The folks doing this are simply wonderful to work with. Best stay of the trip by far.
How wonderful to get your fabulous heart warming review. Please make another trip to Sam Hill Cottage. Thank you so much. Lisa and Noni
Comfortable, Private and Clean
We enjoyed our stay at Sam Hill's Cottage. It is very quite, neat and tidy. I recommend this place to anyone. I loved sitting on the front porch enjoying the morning sun and watching the wood peckers enjoy their morning breakfast.
Only suggestion, it would be nice if basic TV or cable were provided. We had to live stream our favorite news shows and borrow our son's Netflex account if we wanted to watch TV.
We were so happy to hear you had a wonderful experience at Sam Hill Cottage and sorry to hear you had trouble accessing our television channels. We actually do have TV with lots of channels and internet connection options for your accounts. We will have to look at the written instructions to see if it needs updating.
Hope to see have you again!
Clean and nicely decorated-great for 2-4 people
Nice front porch and easy access to downtown with a grocery store close by. Well equipped and managed. Property manager quickly responsive for questions
We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay and Sam Hill met your expectations. Please come back!
We stay in a lot of places all over the world. What we loved about Sam Hill is the size, the quiet, the surroundings. It had everything needed (which isnt always the case with places) and was very clean. Meaning clean towels, sheets, furniture, windows, etc. Homeaway and VRBO have gotten way too expensive with hidden fees everywhere from deposits, cleaning fees, site fees, etc.. We found Sam Hill didn't ask for crazy extra fees and the cleaning fee was not extravagant. Best of all we didn't feel micromanaged by tons of rules, signs everywhere, and strict check-in departure times.
What a wonderful review! It's great to hear all your expectations and more were met during your stay in our cottage.
Thank you so much. We hope to see you again.

Cute house just outside of the Town Square
Things I want everyone to know.
It has a Washer and Dryer
It actually had to window AC units, one in the master and one in the kitchen.
They provided a large number of fans to assist with circulating the air in the house.
It was Mid July for us and we all slept comfortably.
Really enjoyed our stay.
Thanks! We're glad you enjoyed your stay.
We really enjoyed our stay, The house is quite, clean and very well maintened.
The house is fully equipped and very comfortable. The area is quite, easy to find and close to downtown. There are lots of things to do in the area. All in all it's a great place to stay and relax.
